Realism
This is Maleficent. My version of her. I wanted to show that she, herself, has beauty. And I wanted to show the hidden emotions in her eyes. Personally - the eyes are my favorite part.
Believe it or not - but - this actually started out as a sketch in pen on lined paper. I decided to animate it on my phone. Yes. The whole thing was done on my phone. If you go to my DeviantArt account, you can find a short, step-by-step process on there. So far - all my digital art has been done on my SAMSUNG phone. If it's been done otherwise - I'll tell you.
This is probably one of my favorite art pieces. In all the times I've worked on it, it would probably take only two days. I know. Doesn't seem that long. But keep in mind that her head of hair is tucked into her hat-thing, so that probably takes a lot of hours off of animating each strand of hair.
