Shattered Light

Realism

This is a project I did a while ago in high school.  We were given the assignment to draw on black paper so we could work on our lighting.  Everyone wanted to do simple things: like a pear, or a softball... However, I wanted something more challenging since lighting was my strong pursuit.  I loved light bulbs, but that was too simple for me, so I went for a shattering light bulb.  Yeah.  My teacher loved my art.

Just kidding. Well-- it's not false, but I'm not really a bragg-y type of person...

Ahem.  Back to business.

This is one of my absolute favorite pieces I've ever done.  It took about a week to a month to do because I was juggling way too many things at the same time.  I tend to have a bad habit of doing so.

This was done in white color pencil on black paper.
