" Wait what???? " said paris. She tried to stand, but Helen, who was on her feet, caught paris. The mysterious man raised a eyebrow. " Seems like we need to get you to a healer " he said simply, watching helen while she helps paris to her feet. He turned around, closed his eyes and moved his hands together. a purple aura surrounded his body. Moving his hands so where the palms of his hands were facing the air in front of him, a purple oval appeared in front of him, creating a portal. He turned around and smiled at the two girls. " This will take us to the city of Shangri-La " he said, gesturing for them to go on ahead. A sudden thought came to paris. " wait, you mean the ancient hidden city that was described in the book lost horizon? " she demanded. Her father laughed. " it would seem that father has kept you updated on our home " he responded. " but yes, shangri-la is a ancient city that was described in the book lost horizon " he added before waving a hand. Paris suddenly felt weight on her back. " your stuff " he said, answering Paris's unasked question and entering the portal. Paris and helen jump through the portal, anxious to what they will find on the other side.

A second portal appeared in front a large mountain. A man calmly stepped out. Two others soon followed. Paris fell out, landing on her stomach. Helen stumbled a little bit, but landed on her feet. Paris's father calmly walked over. He offered his hand. Paris took it. " Up you come my girl " he said, pulling paris to her feet. He gestured a hand at the mountain. " Welcome to the city of shangri-la, home of the beast masters " he said cheerfully.
