They walked down the hall when her father decided to start a conversation. " I see you met prince Octavius " he said, not looking at her. " Yeah, definitely not going to be my favorite person in this city " she responded while putting her chakra blades away.  " stubborn little bastard isn't he? " he said, laughing. " yeah, but why is everyone so upset about fenrir?" she asked this time for the thousandth time. The last time, she met slimy Octavius.  Her father took a deep breath before continuing. "You have to understand, every human has an animal spirit," he explained, " whether they choose to become a chakra warrior depends on their choosing. But the prince was born with a rat as his animal spirit " he said. " explains his slimy personality" muttered paris. Her father laughed without humor. " Let me guess, he wasn't happy with his animal " said paris. " yes, so his father, the emperor, promised to give fenrir to Octavius as his animal spirit to replace the rat that he hates so much" replied Marcus.

" Is that possible? " asked paris. " sadly, it is, but it could corrupt the animal along with it's human " he answered with a dark tone in his voice. Paris looked down, thoughts running through her brain. But her father broke her from her thoughts. " but yes, it is possible by sealing the beast away, you can force the bond, although they won't have nearly the same amount of power as a normal bond " he finished, coming to a stop in front of a large set of doors. Paris examined the doors more closely. A Japanese symbol was etched into the large red doors.

" the symbol for beast " said paris, who translated it with little to no ease. Her father was shocked. When had this child learned to speak Japanese? Surely her grandfather didn't teach her. Could it be the dragon that was residing within her? He shook his head. Another mystery that needed to be solved.

He pushed the doors open, revealing a large room. There was a large curved table that was at least ten feet off the ground. Chairs were seated around the table. And people were seated at each chair. And all their eyes turned to paris and her father. " welcome to the council " said marcus
