Ryanne didn't continue to wear dresses or skirts everyday. Or dye her hair all the time. Now the 22 year old has a few tattoos and piercings with her normal brown locks. She's a photographer and lives by herself in an apartment not far from her parents.
Luke is the same. Tattoos, piercings, video games. He even still hangs out with the same group and lives by himself. He never redecorated, hell, he still has a picture of his and Ryanne next to his bed. Oh how he misses those days.
So the next day Ryanne walks next door to Luke's. Black leggings and a Pastel rainbow jumper. She knocks on the all to familiar door and waits patiently. Soon it opens revealing Luke in a black t shirt in jeans, never changed. "Hey Pr-Ryanne," he says. He's so use to calling the cutie in front of him Princess it almost slipped. He steps aside and Ryanne steps in being hit with déjà vu.
She sits on the couch she's sat on so many times and smiles feeling safe and comfortable. He sits down in the chair across from her and they begin catching each other up on their life's by the end they are laughing and joking as if they haven't not been apart for 5 years.
"Well I better get home," Ryanne smiles getting up and Luke gets up with her. "Well I'll see you tomorrow?" He asks and she nods. "I'll unblock your number and text you," she giggles and he smiles sadly trying to resist the urge to kiss her but goes in for the hug with Che returns. "I'll see you later,"
When home her brother who's in 12th comes downstairs and sits next to her. "Luke? I thought you vowed to never look at him again," he chuckles and Ry pushes him unlocking her her phone. When she clicks the contact to unblock it pops up Daddy 💞. She clicks on the messages to see he sent her one 5 years ago she never got.

Ryanne runs to her old room and throws herself on the bed before crying. Luke missed her. He waited for her. He loved her. And she let him slip away.
