Break ups. Break ups are hard because even if you try your hardest you never forget a person. Even if you ignore each other and pretend they don't exist. Saying goodbye isn't the hardest part it's the part where you cry hours about that person.
But that chance that you try it again might keep you going. It kept Luke going as he sat inside his house for the first year depressed and lonely. Five years later when he say Ryanne again he felt hope that's why when he saw her in her Kitten gear again he almost immediately asked her out, well a week later when she had gone home and he missed her again.
But he chickened out. The Luke Hemmings chickened out on a date with the girl of his dreams. He felt horrible when he received a simple text that night from her.

It broke him. Crushed his heart into a million and one pieces. He could picture the small girl nervously yet excitedly walk into the small café and sit at a table ordering a drink and waiting. Waiting and waiting. Then finally giving up and sadly walking out.
The small girl then would try to stay strong. Driving home the radio lightly playing in the background as she blinked trying to keep the tears from pouring out of her eyes. Then finally getting to her tiny apartment she runs up the stairs and lays in her bed finally allowing the tears to fall.
This image broke the blonde man. He fucked up once again but unlike last time where Ryanne gave him a second chance he doesn't know if he'll get a third.
