Before I could answer Negan over the walkie he spoke again giving me directions to their sanctuary. "come alone" was the last thing he said and then the static stopped signifying he was no longer there.
I sat back on my bed trying to process what he just said and I knew this was a chance to prove myself to Negan and his men, to prove that becoming allies with us is beneficial and that way he'll leave rick and his people alone
So I gather some essential medical supplies, throw on my jean jacket and set out on foot...alone...and at night. From the directions Negan gave me it seemed to be around a 30 minute walk, and before I know it Im walking up to the gates, at least i think there gates, because all i see is a chain fence surrounding a huge factory with walkers chained up all around
"Holy shit" i whisper to myself and walk to the front gate. "stop right there bitch" a man on guard comes out pointing a gun at me, but before i could rest my case and tell him who I am a familiar voice speaks "hold up there, I asked her to come prick" I see Negan step out, i walk past the guard and enter, "what happened, I thought you said you were under attack" Negan gets serious for a second, "we were, assholes harmed a lot of my men, but we fought back and killed a hell of a lot more of theres, so they retreated.....buncha pussys" he adds with a chuckle.
"So why'd you call me?" I asked following him inside "well our doctor was killed, and your a medic right? So you can help patch up my men and maybe ill consider your cute little deal" he said with his signature grin. A huge smile spread on my face "really!? thank you Negan Im positive you won't regret it" i say fast from excitement, "woah there honey, I like your enthusiasm but i said I'd think about it.......but i have to say, im surprised you actually showed, thought you were just talking out of your ass the other day" he finished up saying when we finally got to the medical room, i turn to him "One thing you should know about me Negan is I never say shit I don't mean, I'm a girl of my word" and with that I made my way into the medic room and started assisting anyone I could
For hours all I did was pick bullets out of men, stitch them up, and take blood from those who were willing to give it up. I won't lie, it was a lot, I was the only one who had any medical background, but eventually I got it all done.
The whole time I worked on people Negan watched, not saying a word. I have to say the mans not that bad looking, that salt and pepper hair, the leather jacket, and the way he carries himself around is enough to make a girl go crazy...make me go crazy.... I mentally tell myself to stop fawning over him and finish up stitching up the last guy
"well shit Kelly if I wasn't already thinking about screwing your brains out I sure am now" he said walking up to me "wow so sweet of you Negan" i say in a sarcastic tone while rolling my eyes. "who would have thought a young and sweet little thing like you had it in you to stitch up all my men, might I say sweetie, you definitely have my interest" Negan said inching closer with that sexy ass smile I love to hate but before I can comprehend what the hell he said Simon, one of Negans head men, comes in "Hey Negan the men are ready to discuss our counter attack plan" Negan signs frustrated "alright give me ten minutes". Simon leaves and Negan looks at me "let me walk you out" he says chuckling as we walk down the halls I try and lighten the mood "Don't worry I won't tell anyone you are going soft, it'll be our little secret" I say trying not to laugh, Negan looks at me like I'm crazy and then bursts into laughter
"Shit lady that was a good one, I'm definitely not going soft, if anything I'm as hard as a rock" he said throwing a wink my way, I laugh and before we know it I'm at the gate "I'll think about your offer, I'm not promising anything though" I turn to head out but I turn back to Negan for one last word "I'm a good person, I don't let people down, and I would not let you down Negan"
With those last words I made my way back to the safe zone enjoying the sun rise, and looking forward to getting to my bed for a couple hours of sleep, I was exhausted, today was the day I help out Rick and Aaron.
