Making my way back home to the safe zone all I could think of was Negan, Negan and fucking more Negan. I couldn't believe he actually accepted my offer. To be honest I couldn't get this stupid smile off my face the whole way home.
I updated Patrick our leader on the news that Negan joined us and he was proud. Patrick is in charge of our community but I'm the only person who deals with any outside communication with other communities. I'm in charge of all of that, and I'm happy to be. It's allowed me to meet Rick and his group who are great people, and Negan, whether I'd like to admit it or not, he has a huge effect on me, I can't help but find him attractive, and his personality around me makes me want to kiss him and never stop.
Laying in my bed once again ready to fall asleep, I hear the familiar static of the walkie and all the sudden my stomach is filled with butterflies. I get up and rush over to my bag and grab the walkie turning it to station 7.
"Hello?" I ask sitting back down on my bed
"It's good to hear your voice sweet checks" Negans voice fills the silent void in my room
I can't hide my smile while talking "what can I do for you?" I say in a jokingly tone chuckling
"Well if I remember right you said we could meet tomorrow, and I must say I didn't think I'd have to be the one to set our little meeting up" he said in a playful tone
"Well I'm sorry sir but I'm a busy gal" I say holding back a laugh
"Damn it women, call me sir one more time and this meeting tomorrow is going to be taken place in my bed" he said chuckling. I was so glad I was alone in my room because I was blushing so hard, how can this man talk like this, i mean it fits his personality but I don't think I will get used to his jokes.
So I pretend like his comment didn't have any effect and reply
"I'll come by in the afternoon and we can go over supplies, inventory, and maybe plan out some scavenging routes that all our groups can come in together and help"
"Afternoon? how about the morning, to make sure we have enough time to get through everything, I'd like to show you around the sanctuary as well" Negan said and I couldn't contain my smiling.
"Okay, then morning it is" I said laughing slightly
"I can't wait darlin" Negan said before his static went silent
And here I was laying in my bed, smiling like an idiot, and wondering just why the hell I'm crushing on Negan.
Skip to the morning
Waking up in the morning bright and early I quickly get ready for the long day ahead of me. But I could not deny that I was really excited.
Throwing on my jean jacket and boots I made my way to breakfast quickly eating, anxious to get on the road to the sanctuary.
After talking with some of my buddies and letting Patrick know where I was going I started on my way to the sanctuary. It took me about 25-30 minutes to walk there, not many walkers were out this morning so I got there pretty fast
Walking up to the gate with my hands up I noticed it was the same guard from the other night. "Come in, Negan said you'd be coming" the guard said while opening the gate and allowing me to come inside "I'll radio him and tell him your here, wait here" the guard said grabbing his walkie and walking off
I stand in the same place waiting, and looking around at the atmosphere here, the big building, the walker filled gates, and the poor men who were in the walker yard chaining them to the fence, I felt sorry for them. What a shitty job that was.... A loud clap makes me whip my head up to the door that was up the stairs in front of me
"Kelly I must say I've been looking forward to this since I left Alexandria yesterday" he said descending the stairs outside and walking up to me
I laugh slightly "do the compliments ever stop with you, or do you just try to sweeten up any girl with tits?" I say crossing my arms
Negan laughs "Oh honey you have it all wrong" Negan says walking closer "Yes I do love me a good looking women, with a nice set of tits, but thats just physical shit. You just happen to be the whole package, you have the smarts, the courage, the heart, and....a grreeaattt ass" Negan chuckled out making me roll my eyes "Very funny, so where should we go over inventory?" I ask looking up at Negan
He begins to walk up the stairs "follow me, we'll go to my office"
I follow Negan up the stairs, and walk through hallways for what seemed for hours and finally arrived to a huge door. Negan opened the door and I walked in. His office was enormous, with a huge window that looked over the entire sanctuary.
"have a seat" Negan said gesturing to the seat across from him. I pull out the multiple lists of the safe zones inventory, and Negan does the same "lets get down to business" I sarcastically say before we set our lists down and discuss
Fast Forward a couple hours
It's been a couple hours but me and Negan are finally done going over our inventory and planning out trades and scavenging ideas for our groups.
"I'd like to show you around now" Negan said getting up from his seat and walking to the door. I follow him and we start walking through the halls
"I hope you'll visit a lot, now that our groups are allies, we need to stay up to date with each others groups. So I'm expecting to see you come around often" Negan say looking my way slightly while we continue to walk. He continues saying "Which is why I'm showing you around my sanctuary"
For the next few hours Negan shows me everything, from the armory, to the pantry, the kitchen, and the cafeteria. Finally we head out to the gates and I gather my things to leave and turn to Negan "Thank you for your time today, I think both our groups can help one another out a hell of a lot"
Negan smiles at me, and it wasn't just a cheesy smile he does after he cracks a joke it was a genuine warm smile and it was hard not to melt on the spot
"It was my pleasure entirely" Negan said walking closer but before anything else could happen Simon bursts out the door of the factory "Negan a couple of your men are having a brawl in the cafeteria, its getting nasty"
Negan sighed in frustation and looked at me "Until next time sweet cheeks" he said winking and walking away to Simon
Smiling to myself I turn to head out but was stopped by a voice "Wait, Kelly" I turn around and see Dwight running after me
"What's wrong" I say confused as to why Dwight wanted to talk to me
"How'd you do it" He said with a straight face
"Uh?" I mumble confused
"Negan, h-he's been in a good mood ever since that one day he came across you in Alexandria last week"
"What? Really?, I didn't do anything" I said looking at Dwight
I go to turn around and start walking out again
"He likes you....a lot, I've never seen him like this.....thank you"
I didn't even turn around, I kept walking because I had the worlds biggest grin on my face and it never left my face. Even when I got home and sprawled out on my bed I was smiling ear to ear
"So the big bad wolf Negan likes me huh?" I whisper to myself
And then I hear it, the static, and I sprint up and run to my bag and pull out Negans Walkie. But something was wrong it wasn't Negans walkie buzzing, it was the one Rick had given me
So I turned it on and before I could say anything all I could hear was gunfire on the other end of the radio and then I heard Ricks voice
"KELLY YOU NEED TO GET HERE NOW, GATHER YOUR MEN AND CALL NEGAN TO GATHER HIS......... WE ARE UNDER ATTACK"
OH NO WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN??!!! IM BRINGING IN THE WHISPERS FROM THE COMIC BOOK BUT ITS JUST GOING TO BE THE NAME, IM NOT GOING TO FOLLOW ANY OF WHAT THEY DO IN THE COMICS, JUST USING THE GROUP NAME!!
