Chapter 18

Yeri POV

I walked to the rooftop and saw many students up there hanging out. I then gave them a cold stare and some of them were leaving. Weird. 

I then sat down on a bench and let out a sigh and almost wanted to tear up but I didn't want to show others that I cry. I kept thinking about the others and my family. In the corner of my eye, I hear Seulgi Unnie. "Yeri ah?"

I turned my head to the right, "Annyeong"

She sat next to me. "Is something bothering you?" 

"Of course not..." I said

"It's fine if you don't want to tell me. I understand your personal issues" Seulgi said

"Actually..."

Seulgi Unnie turned her head so she can face me, "Ne?"

"Something is bothering me..."

"What is it?"

"It's about my family... And Joy Unnie" I paused, "Look, my life isn't great like I say or act... Especially when my best friend betrayed me and blamed me for something I didn't do"

"Why isn't your life great?" 

I let out a sigh, "It's just my family. Eomma had passed away when I was very young, and Appa wasn't always there for me when I was a kid and still now. I never really found myself in the perfect place. Especially when Appa eventually got over Eomma's passing and he married my step mother who I hate. Have you heard about my step sister?"

Seulgi Unnie shook her head. I then spoke, "Oh. Since I didn't have a sibling, I have a step sister. Basically, she never treated me like a real sister. Especially when I didn't have a sister growing up. And blah blah blah, he became really famous as a CEO for his company-- I know I'm jumping to different stories, but I'm sorry" 

Seulgi Unnie laughed too and I softly laughed to myself and continued, "When I was younger, he did promise me that he was going to spend time with me when he becomes a CEO, but as I got older, I realized that he got too busy for me. When I finally met BTS Oppas and Red Velvet Unnies, I found out my place in the world. And, I now know how a sister is really like, rather than all of the stereotypes of sisters"

I started to tear up and I guess Seulgi Unnie heard me crying, "Yeri ah... Miahne for making you tell me about your life"

"It's okay Unnie. You didn't know" I said, while wiping off my tears off of my cheeks "Especially how Joy Unnie is treating me, my life isn't great at all"

Then, Seulgi Unnie hugged me and comforted me. "Yeri ah... It's okay... We will help you through it"

Seulgi POV

I kept walking down the corridor until Namjoon, Suga, Jin, and Wendy came walking to me, then Jin ah spoke. "Did she tell you about her family?"

"Ne" I said, "I feel really bad..."

"Well she is such a strong person as well" Wendy spoke

"Have you seen her house?" Suga asked

"Mwo? Aniyo. Have you guys?" I asked

"Some of us had, if you saw her house then you would figure out her life" Namjoon said

Jungkook POV

Yeri and I arrived at her house. I was in aw when he saw her house. It's really beautiful, wide, and spacious. Now I see what family Yeri ah comes from. And what the guys were talking about.

"Thanks for walking me home" Yeri said coldly

Suddenly the front door opened and it revealed her maid, "Yeri ah! You're back!" She then noticed me, "Hey, do you want to come in?"

"Ani. I just walked her home" I said, "Bye Yeri ah"

"See ya" Yeri said

Both her and her maid walked in. I then started to walk away to the sidewalk until I heard someone, I think it was her father. "YERI AH"

I turned around and heard her father yelling at her it seems like he was drunk. "Yeri ah, I told you not to come home late!! What did I say?!"

I then heard her getting slapped by her father. It must of really hurt.
