i'm back with a poem (again) lol i'm sorry if i annoy you with my constant drama with my poems. so this is going to be the first poem i have written for the year <3

. . .

perfectly flawed

1/3/2017

like a shattered piece of glass

getting hit by the lights,

she radiates through the darkness.

it was beautiful, the way she shined.

it struck me then,

even when all of her world collides

how she made broken look pretty

with the only pieces she can find.

she was so fragile,

so she never did land.

afraid that if she falls again,

she'll lose the remaining parts of her true self,

unfixable this time around

but she need not someone to catch her

because falling would always be her fault.

and she need not someone to love her

when she can love herself even more.

she doesn't need to be broken forever

because even the fire loses it's flame.

because like they said,

if you want the sun,

you'll always have to deal with the rain.

fin.

an: :) there it goes.
