"Huh.." The boy who had kidnapped MC said, speaking to an unconscious body laid on the floor. "The party will begin soon..Just need to finish the preparations, right, MC?"

"It's too bad," He continued with a sigh, "I don't think I want them to see you. But the Saviour insists we invite them. Will they like the new you, I wonder?"

MC's body stirred. The boy stopped talking and held his breath, watching her. All she did was turn on her side, but now that Saeran could no longer see her face, he angrily pouted, moving over to her. Looking at her for another second, he moved to pick her pick, but first swept her hair behind her ear, beginning to whisper. "They won't like you like I do. They will leave you. The RFA is full of a bunch of liars and fakes..I had to save you from that."

'Yeah, I saved her,' Saeran told himself, as he lifted MC up, bridal style, and began to walk with her to her cell, 'She should be grateful..She will be, she'll know that I saved her, and she'll love me.'

Saeran looked down at her, not a feeling of remorse for what'd he had done. She gave up her life to stay in the apartment with the RFA, she should do the same for him, right? Selfish thoughts just kept running through his head, but he couldn't help it. He had just been so glad that none of those animals had touched her yet. He can't even think of what he would've done if they did.

As he was opening the cell gate, MC stirred even more, and he roughly set her down before she could wake up, successfully shutting the gate as she opened her eyes. Saeran's eyes narrowed towards her as he watched MC move with confusion, then as she shot right up as she realized she was on the cold hard ground of a cell room.

"What the?--" MC said, quite loudly, "Where the hell am I?" Saeran just looked at her, no clue what to say. He had no idea how to act towards her- He could be good to her, tell her about the RFA's true plans, or he could leave her to herself, and be crude towards her.

Saeran then changed to a glare towards her and crossed his arms, deciding he wouldn't be able to show his feelings. Things never worked out for him anyway, it was better to let it go and destroy her instead.

Just as the Savior had reminded him earlier, MC was here so Mint Eye could take down the RFA. All she was is a piece in a game of chess, and they would use her until she was useless. Because when she was useless, she'd be discarded. So of course Saeran had to end his infatuation with her, because soon the savior wouldn't need her, and she'd be gone.

A quick thought ran through Saeran's head, one to give him chills. He felt as though, maybe he was a piece too. Maybe the Savior would get rid of him too.

'No,' He tried telling himself, his thoughts switching from good to bad every second, as he felt he mind get muddied and panicked, 'She won't leave me. I matter to her. I have to.' His attention was brought back to MC, who had been staring at him intensely as he had zoned out. He glared at her once more and uncrossed his arms, walking away from her with no clue what to say.

> Meanwhile with the RFA <

Yoosung: It's been a while to MC showed up to the chat room..I wonder if she ate lunch?

Jaehee: I agree. We usually call before I head to work, but today she didn't pick up.

Yoosung: I guess maybe she just can't talk to us for some reason? ^^;

Yoosung: Oh! Maybe she's still sleeping!

Yoosung: She did stay up pretty late last night.

Jaehee: I suppose you are right. We should just wait a little more.

> 707 has entered the chatroom <

707: Have any of you seen MC?!

707: Last night, she said the hacker messaged her.

707: She called me this morning, but when I answered, I didn't hear anything on the phone.

707: I thought it was weird, so I started looking at the CCTV cameras a few hours later, but she wasn't in the house at all!

Jaehee: Luciel, please slow down I can't read that fast.

707: And when I went to look at the footage from earlier, it was deleted!

Yoosung: What?! Does that mean she's in danger?

707: It has to!! It has to be the hacker!

707: I'm on my way to her house to check if someone broke in.

707: I need to go. Wish me luck;;

Jaehee: Please find MC safe..

> 707 left the chatroom <

> Luciel's P.O.V <

Leaving the chatroom, I clicked off my phone and tossed it to the other seat so I could focus on driving. I was currently going 32 kilometers over the speed limit and my nerves were buzzing. All I could ever think about was MC, and now that she was in possible danger it was even worse.

Why would the hacker lead her to the apartment, just to take her away a few days later? It was unfair. It was so unfair, MC didn't deserve to be in danger because of me. Removing one hand off the steering wheel, I gripped my own hair tightly, tugging on it as I frowned.

I never wanted this. I knew and repeated to myself a thousand times over that I didn't deserve to get close to anyone. That I couldn't have relations with people, or have a soft spot. My work occupation was a do or die agency, and the chance of dying was always higher than succeeding. So I was told that. Multiple times, I had been told that I needed to be ready and give everything up, without out a trace of me in anyone's memory.

That is whats dangerous. The traces I leave behind, the traces other hackers leave behind. I had to make sure there were none of me. So..why did I join the RFA? Was it because of RIka and V? Was I grateful to them, or was it just because I didn't want to officially leave behind the traces of my brother? My mind had slowly drifted off, from the thoughts of MC back to my brother. It made me remember that I really didn't deserve life. Even when my life was full of misery, I did not deserve to be here.

''Please God,'' I had whispered to myself, deciding to pray as I drove, "Just let her be safe. I couldn't live with myself," A pricking sensation came to my eyes and I realized I was on the brink of tears. Bring my hand down from my hair, I wiped at the corner of my eyes and focused on the road properly, speeding up.

I know I decided to live in the country side of the city for safety, but it truly did suck when I had to get to a place on the whole other side of the town in a hurry. There was a large doubt in my mind that MC was still at the apartment. No smart hacker would do something suspicious hours before they actually make their move. There was even a small chance that MC had disappeared hours before.

It would explain the strange phone call I also received from her, where she hadn't said anything. I can't believe I was so stupid to not think there was anything odd about it and check the CCTV cameras then.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see my phone light up a bright green and black pattern. Looking away from the road for a quick second, I noticed it seemed to be lines of binary code rewriting its own algorithm. Suddenly, the code stopped and my phone let out a loud, blaring screech, causing me to cringe and bring both of my hands to my head as I tried to block out the sound.

Then it was that I realized the mistake I made in doing that, and I felt my heartbeat and time itself slow down. It was my sudden movement that had made my car swerve off the road, and begin to flip in circles with me in it as I hit a ditch.

I closed my eyes tightly as I braced myself. I was a goner. I began to pray one last time, that perhaps here I would leave my last trace.
