"Mr. Park."
"Mr. Park!"
"MR. PARK!"
My thoughts snapped forward as I looked to the male in front of me. By eyes trailed to his heavenly form as he sat across from me, his clipboard on his lap. I studied his nicely styled hair, his clothes wrinkle free. His shoes were clean, not a single speck of dirt lingered on it. It was very Baekhyun like. But of course that was what made him so him.
If I compared it to myself, I'd seem like a fashion terrorist. My hair lay disheveled and out of place, covering most of my face, hiding the fact that my eyes were red and puffy. My shoes and other small things lay thrown around the floor, not being put away and thrown about during my small rampage. I was a mess and I knew it. Everyone knew it. If they didn't know it then the nurses wouldn't give me any of this new medication. They wouldn't force me to wake up earlier. They wouldn't make me do anything that doesn't go with my normal schedule.
"Mr. Park, are you even listening?" Baekhyun's words slipped out, soaring and flying straight towards my ears.
"I was not, I apologize. That was my own fault." I spoke, my eyes falling down onto my lap.
"Have you been getting enough sleep, you seem tired."
I only shrugged, "I get enough as they allow me to."
"How have you been? The nurses told me uh, umm about the medication." He spoke, reaching his hand towards mine.
I moved my hand away instantly.
"It's my own fault, so I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine."
"You don't seem fine-"
"I said I was fine, Dr. Byun! I don't need this sort of treatment. I'm fine!" I huffed and stood up, my legs moving and beginning to pace around the room.
"Mr. Park, why don't you sit back down."
"If I sit back down I'll end up raising my voice at you again, and I don't want that to happen, Baekhyun."
"It's Dr. Byun."
"I don't care if it is or not. I am calling you Baekhyun if you like it or not, alright? You can hate it all at once, but I just want to try to go back to normal, to how we were before I screwed up and made this all awkward. Next time, I'll keep my feelings to myself." I spoke in quick tones, continuing to pace around.
"That's fine, but please come sit back down." Baekhyun hummed and spoke, nodding his head as he patted the spot on my bed.
"Will you sit by me again?"
"Sure, but only if you answer a question for me."
I nodded my head and stopped walking, my legs coming to a stop as I sat back onto the bed.
"Why have you been ignoring your friend, Sehun?" Baekhyun asked, his head tilted like a little puppy.
"He doesn't know the pain of the heart break that I am going through."
"And why is there heart break?"
"There's heart break from your rejection. It's obvious that this is one sided."
"No one said anything about one sided, Mr. Park. All I said is that you're my patient, but you won't be forever."
