Lost

After Dean got out of the car he asked Mr.Gonra if he could go on to the back to see Alice. Mr.Gonra gave him a pass and let him go.

Most of the competition council is given a pass to go to the back and since Mr.Gonra is a very close funders and friend he was given one.
Dean had been to alot of these in the past and always went back to support Alice.
Dean went past the trailers and wooden posts to the side of the big tent. He showed his pass and went through.
He went down the aisle passing several stables he went down to the one were Alice and Maple was write on the paper that was pasted to the door.
He opened the curtain that was on the top half of the Door, it was empty.

Dean ran back outside to find Alice's dad. He scanned the area. Mr. Gonra was sitting in the front row of the bleachers that were surrounding the track.

Dean wove through the crowds of people, this is a huge event for the town of Elmcrest Acres. He finally found him and told him Alice wasn't in her pen with Maple so Mr.Gonra and Dean went around the grounds looking for her. Dean didn't know why Alice was not there but he wanted to know if she was okay or not'something might have happened to her.

"Mr.Gonra," dean yelled "I am going to look in the woods!"

"Okay, be careful" Mr.Gonra yelled back from not to far away.

Dean ran towards the forest picking up a rock on the way. Dean ran through the forest calling out Alice's name. He marked the trees with the rock as he wove through the them.

"Alice!! Alice!!" Dean called out repeatedly. He was just about to give up and go back when he heard a cry and then he heard someone yell back. He couldn't quite make out the words Dean yelled out Alice's name once more.

"ALICE!!" Dean shouted.
"DEAN!" He knew it was Alice.
"We're are you Alice?!" Dean yelled as he followed her voice

He found Alice leaning against a tree with her head in her hands weeping quietly. Dean ran up to her. Alice quickly stood up and ran into his arms now crying on to Deans shoulder.  "Alice what happened? Where's Maple?"
Alice quickly stopped crying but continued to hold Dean even tighter now. Dean brought his hand from Alice's waist to her head.
"Dean thank god your here! Something freaked out Maple and I fell of of her while she was panicking and she ran away. Dean you have to help me look for her." Alice said as she let go of Dean and Dean let go of her too.
"Of course I will. Come on we can't wait any longer she couldn't have gonna far. There's a stream and few minutes from here she probably went there."  Alice nodded in agreement. Dean took her hand."let's go find your horse." Alice smiled at him he smiled back. Dean lead her to the stream and marked a few trees on the way.

"There she is!" Alice shouted with joy. Maple was drinking out of the steam . They ran up to her and Alice hugged her by the neck "Don't you ever do that again! You scared me half to death , but I'm glad your save." Alice grabbed Maples leash and lead her away from the stream. Dean followed.
"What happened to her leg?" Dean asked Alice noticed it too. Dean bent down and he realized they were claw marks. "Alice we have to get out of here. I think a cougar startled her before and she lead it away from you she probably fought with it near the stream."
"She saved my life?" Alice said looking into Maples eyes.
Dean chucked finding it fascinating "Yeah,  she did" Alice smiled and her.
"Come on let's go"
Dean lead them back to the competi tion area. As soon as they arrived Alice's dad ran up to them yelling "she's over here!"
"Alice where were you? I was so worried." He said hugging Alice I a tight hug. "I'm sorry dad Maple got lost I was looking for her then Dean came and he helped me find her is the competition over?" She said as they broke out of the hug.
"No they postponed it until you were found"

Alice smiled a bright smile. Dean looked at Alice and smiled too he liked it when she was happy.

Alice looked at Dean "thank you" she said and then she gave him a quick hug and ran of with Maples leash in her hand lead her away.
