And I near the city I noticed that it was bigger that I thought, the roads were blocked off, the windows were closed shut and boarded off with wood and nails, it seams like a nice town but only time can tell...

When I climbed over the barricade, I saw... No one, there was no one, but also I saw a gun store, I was low on ammo anyways, as I approached I got they feeling of being watched, I looked up at the Windows and I thought that it was impossible to see through them, they are all blocked off. I entered the gun store and there was nothing besides ammo on the floor and a 44. On the table with a man on the floor, he committed suicide. it looked like it didn't work out well, there's three entry points and no exit points, the first shot looked liked it missed, the rest took care of it. After looting the store I walked down the street to find a supermarket at the end of this little road. on the front of the building it read in red spray paint:
"don't come in, no loot inside"
I thought I should go inside, you never know, there could be loot...

When I got Inside, i was happy because I was right, there was loot, a lot! Food, medical supplies, there was a sporting goods section, it was like heaven for me! I can try to set up something in here, I can border of the entrance and live here! Actually, that's what I'm going to do! I went In the back and saw that there's solar panels on the roof and a back up generator. I pulled the lever and there was a 'boom' sound, after all the lights came on, I went to to fuse box so i can turn off the outside lights to save energy, this place was amazing!

About an hour of walking around and barricading the doors and windows, I think I can make this my permanent home! It is safe, strong, there a big supply of food and water, there's ammo and guns, toys. Yes toys, you never know what else I can do when I'm bored, you can only loot for so long. I went over to the electronic section to try to find a charger for my radio, if I can contact the base, they should be able to get here in about a week!

I searched for awhile until I remembered. my radios charging cable was specially made. only the military makes, they made it so it could charge multiple things like radios, GPS, drone. It was capable of charging lots of things.I was depressed for a while, night was starting to fall so I went to bed on a sleeping bag that I found, I planed to sleep well knowing that I'm safe here...

It was midnight when I woke up to a sound of terror, it was a loud 'thud', it sounded like it came from the mountains that run around the city, I looked out a window when I saw a big jet on the side of the mountain, I took my binoculars and tried to focus in on the crash sight, I saw two survivors that looked injured, I didn't want to take the chance to let them stay with me, but tomorrow I'll go check it out...

When I woke up, I saw that on my watch that the time was 7:12. I got up, grabbed my gun and got ready to go to the crash sight, the back door the the store was made out of metal, there was a lock with a key, there was a spare key so I took it with me, I was outside, the cool fall air blew on my face, before the war, I served about a year in Canada so I know what the winters can be like, it was about an hour climb up a small dirt trail. at the top I had to go off trail for about 15 minutes to get to the crash sight, the jet was military, wasn't American nor Canadian, I think it's Japanese but I'm not sure, I don't know where the pilot and copilot went, hopefully not near my safe house. The last thing I was is someone looting my stuff. In the cockpit there was blood all over the seats, the air bags weren't there, and there was no emergency flare, they must have took it with them, but who Would take airbags with them? I should try to find them to see I they have the military radio charger. if they do have one, that would be great, if not... I can't let them come with me, I'll have to kill them...

After, I came down the mountain, I entered the town to see a trail of blood leading down the road, in to a clothing store, I walked inside, 44. In hand, I saw one of them sleeping on the floor behind the counter, I approached.

"Hello, do you speak English?"

He looked up, he's hair was covering his eyes.

"Yes I do. what do you want? I won't hurt you!"

He had a troubled expression on his face.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt you ether, I just want to know if your alright."

He smiled and then said:

"I'm fine, Its just my friend... He's dead..."

I didn't know what to say! Should I say something nice?

"That's too bad, sometimes good people have to leave..."

He smiled some more.

"Do you have a place to stay?"

I asked.

"No, do you?"

I don't know what to say either!

"Yes, do you want to come in there with me?"

I'm starting to regret my decision.

"Of corse! Where is it?"

"follow me"

We walked back to the store, he seemed like a good person, he has a smile on his face, and all around looks fine!
