Hey, guys! Can I just share my first experience of prom as a fifteen-year-old?
You don't have to read through this so you may read it or not depending if you please so. You may skip, I have a divider (or a border line or whatever you call it) to guide you where the chapter starts.
Okay, so yeah... I am utterly flattered! That was undoubtedly... BEST. NIGHT. EVER.
Okay, so... First of all, I just want to say OHMYFREAKINGGOSH!!! The guy I like ACTUALLY DANCED WITH ME! For four songs, starting with Can I Have This Dance from High School Musical movie.
AND! We... uhh... (I haven't told anybody else but my two best-friends this but uhm... I trust you, guys. So don't tell anybody!) Okay, we *whispers as silently as possible* almost kissed. Okay! You never read that. You never saw that, right? Right! And yeah, the only thing you know is that the guy I like danced with me for four songs which is basically equivalent to 10 minutes because we started at the bridge of the first song and the first chorus of the fourth song.
So that's it! Thanks for reading that... I'm glad you did.
So enjoy this chapter because I'm having issues with Chapter Nineteen right now.
By the way, the note at the end of the chapter was written days ago. Never mind it that much. It means nothing, really.

Chapter Seventeen
KING CLARKSON GLARED AT MAXON with such intensity that everyone was shifting in their seats in uncomfort. The tension was thick in the air as silence crawled on my skin like ice, making me shiver.
Maxon finally removed his gaze on me, and looked at each and every one of the rest of the Elite, before looking at his mother then quickly to his father, then to the table. His head was hanging down, and it was visible that he had disappointed his father again.
Queen Amberly lightly cleared her throat to break the ice that was almost freezing me to the bones. "That's a pretty decent idea, dear. I reckon the rest of us ladies in here agrees."
All four of us nodded slightly. The king removed his glare on Maxon, who was shrinking in his seat in fear. He then looked at his wife, who looked back at him without any fear nor bravery. It was a blank stare and the air was still and cold.
And miraculously, Maxon's father's eyes softened that no one else have ever seen before. He usually looked tough and superior. But right then and there, he simply looked like a real, normal person.
We all watched in awe as the two had their silent conversation through staring at each other's eyes.
The king looked down before saying, "Ladies, you may leave the room." The four of us stood up from our seats, curtsied and silently exited the room, meeting Officer Markson and Officer Paves on the door. Celeste and Kriss went on one direction, Elise and I on the other.
When no one else was around, Elise hugged me suddenly that I almost jumped. "I'm so glad you're alive and alright," she squealed, hugging me tighter. I couldn't help but chuckle at her and hug back. "I am, too, Elise."
She pulled away from the hug, and I saw how really enthusiastic she was to see me. "Oh, you have to call your family as soon as possible. They must be worried sick."
My smile disappeared and I know the worry was clearly visible in my face. "Maybe you should go now. Your maids must have been waiting already and you look like you need some rest. You look pale," she commented. I did not know how to respond to that, but I just nodded. Then, in a pop, a question came out of my lips before I realized what I was asking. "Did you just try to defend Aspen back there with me?"
