Dramione

Five

Hermione woke up only to find more flowers in the common room.  She groaned at the sight.  It had been two days since Cormac came back to Hogwarts, and yet there were fifteen bouquets of flowers sitting in the room. 

When she wasn't in the common room she hid from him.  Practically missed every meal, and couldn't even go to the library, because Cormac would wait for her.  

"Ohh more flowers!" Dean walked in from the portrait.

"Shut up!" Hermione glared at him.

"You should just say your allergic!" He shrugged his shoulders and flopped into a large chair.

"I already tried!  He put a non pollen spell or something on them.  He is unbelievable.  He shouldn't even be here!  It's ruining my holidays."  She sat on the couch opposite Dean, crossing her arms.

"He wouldn't talk to you if you were dating someone.  All Ginny's boyfriends stayed away from her when we were dating."  He looked at Hermione who was now looking out the window.

"I don't think even that would work.  Besides I don't have an ideal boyfriend laying around!" She let out another sigh.

"Don't get any ideas!  I'm taken!" He said defensively.

Knock knock knock.  Both of them turned their heads towards the portrait.

"It's probably him! Oh lord!"  Hermione started to hide behind the curtains.  "Tell him I'm not here!"

Dean opened the portrait.

"Flowers for a miss Hermione granger......."

Hermione came out from her hiding place realizing it was just Malfoy. He was reading the little note, with a grin across his face.  "Since you brighten my day, more than the sun.....and forever Hermione....you will be my number one!"  He closed the tag.  "That's cute." He said sarcastically before walking over to the coffee table and placing the flowers next to the others.

"Please do! Come in Malfoy." Hermione spat sarcastically.

"Hey I'm just the messenger!"  He replied.  "And besides, someone needs to get you out of this state,........what would you call it granger?......hiding with flowers.....I don't know.....I have never been in this scenario before!"  He stood there looking at Hermione, waiting for her to say something.

"I would call it a stalkers obsession!"  She replied.

"That's one thing I can agree on, and very funny humor granger!"

Somebody bolted through the open portrait.  Neither Hermione or Malfoy realized.  Cormac cleared his throat.

Everyone looked at him. 

"Cormac what are you doing here!?"  Hermione said, being caught off guard.

" I'm here to see my girlfriend!"  He waltzed over to the three of them.   Hermione was Shocked when he came even closer.  He kissed her on her forehead after she had leaned back as far as she could. 

"Who says she's your girlfriend?" Malfoy said.

Hermione looked over at him.

"I don't know why don't I ask my girlfriend.  She will agree!"  Cormac smiled sighing at Hermione.

Hermione furrowed her eyebrows.  She felt a sudden feeling of anger, as if she could be claimed!
