"Just keep it still a second..." Marinette tightened up the fabric on the waistline of your glittery navy blue romper.
"I'm sorry, I can't help that I'm trembling!" You showed her your hand in front of you that was visibly shaking like a leaf.
She glimpsed up through her lengthy eyelashes and a smirk grew on her face.
"It's your first award show (y/n)." She stood up and smoothed over your sleeves.
"Yeah, the freaking oscars!" You laugh nervously, as she looks you over.
"Which brings it back to your insane request for someone like me to make your outfit!" She shook her head starting, and you rolled your eyes.
"The stars on the carpet will be wearing Givenchy to Moschino!"
"And I'll be unique, proudly wearing a one of a kind Dupain-Cheng, a wicked designer and a close friend." You placed your hand on her shoulder. You looked past her into the large vanity mirror in front of you.
"It's you who makes it look so great. In Paris we'd call it, magnifique!" She claps.
"Gosh, this is so beautiful." You turn and gasp.
"Look at the stitching! Did you just do that Mari? It looks stellar!"
She laughed placing her hands on her heart.
"You totally deserve best female lead. I just know your going to get it. And did you hear who's announcing it?" She sighed dreamily falling back into a chair.
"Tom Hiddleston and Jared Leto" she squealed jumping back up to shake your shoulders.
a blush hid under the powder the makeup artist dusted on your cheeks, to amplify it's rosiness.
You knew something she didn't, even though you trust her enough to keep it under wraps.
"We all know that award only goes to woman who symbolize them self as sex figures. I played a schizophrenic psycho killer that only wore make up when the mortician put it on."
You rambled trying to get the topic off the man you've secretly been seeing for the last couple months, Jared. The very thought of him made your heart race and your pores bead sweat.
It was your idea to keep it private, since your career as a young actor was just getting at its highest peak, even though it was a struggle to keep away from each other at public events.
It was worth being sneaky about, because when it was just you two,
It was magical.
"But you played her so well, and that's what matters." She did last finishing touches with her fingers, and gave you an encouraging smile.
You snapped out of your distractions, and gave her a nod.
You met your glance in the mirror, again, admiring the fierce smoky eye, Marinette was also able to pull off wonderfully.
"You look absolutely amazing aswell Mari." She giggles, before she replies.
"That she is." Adrian, Marinette's boyfriend, assured, swinging his key ring on his finger while leaning on the door frame.
