I'm sorry for that hiatus I had there.
You all partially know reasoning for this, but I'll go into depth later on.
Much love to all of you, thank you for 23K. I never stopped keeping track of every vote, comment, and reading list addition. We came so far.
I want to promise you all that this will be the last time for such a long wait, chapter updates will be biweekly starting the day i post this.
p.s. - big surprise will be coming at 25K
*********
You seem to think that maybe a few blinks of your eyes and deep breaths would change the numbers on the time clock.
But no matter how hard you squinted, or tapped the board, the red letters twinkled and glowed, in the same position.
You couldn't come to terms with the fact that you had just time traveled unintentionally.
You didn't even know how to do it, and you wondered if you really did do it, what the hell did you do to do it?
"I'm going crazy." You finalize, and take your bad day into the excuse.
After disguising the Delorean with a bunch of hay, you trudged back to the shack, along the side of the unpaved road.
You exhaled in relief when you saw the key where you left it, underneath the mat.
But unlocking the door just made your diagram flatten all entirely.
All the inventions you spent so much time, wrapping in newspaper, and packing in boxes, were in a even more hoarded position then when you first saw them.
Taking cautious steps forward, holding your forehead, You furrowed your eye brows.
The clocks were wrong, but all in sync. Tools were everywhere. It was no doubt Doc was there not too long ago, judging by the TV dinners and fast food cups scattered on among his small tables
You started to touch things, hoping there was a small chance you'd swipe right through it like it was transparent, and this was all just a dream.
"Hey, Doc?"
You hear a quirky voice call, after a small clang on the cement outside. You froze not knowing what to say or do, remembering what Doc said about interacting with anyone.
"Doc?!" He repeated. "Hello, anybody home??"
Whoever it was clearly couldn't see you yet, and there wasn't anywhere to hide. But you wondered who could be so comfortable enough to call Doctor Brown by your nickname?
Then you remembered.
"Einstein c'mere boy." He whistled as the door closed behind him. "What's going on- agh god"
From where you stood, you could now see the teen boy, scowling at Einsteins bowl you've encountered when you walked in. "Jesus." he rolls his skateboard from his feet. "That's disgusting." He was cute. but you thought he could ditch the hair cut.
You shuffled behind a shelf, careful not to make any noise. You tried not to laugh as your nerves loosened, watching him take out a yellow electric guitar, slipping on some sunglasses. He began turning up the amplifiers Doc had at the back of his room, and hooked up his instrument.
