A strong gust of wind, motioned your strands of your hair to fly wildly in the air, and on your face.
That didn't alter the smile ridden on your face, as you continued to scroll through your favourite chapter of 'Jared Leto Imagines' some writer named 'moonlightened'.
It was a breezy day out side. A perfect day to sport a windbreaker, and roam downtown with whoever you encounter.
For no reason in particular, you felt good. You felt at ease. For once, in your hectic life, there was nothing to worry about.
In was a unexplainable bliss.
The bus was 5 minutes late, still, you didn't mind.
Just more time to read in peace, without being cautious of whoever might peek and see the embarrassingly descriptive wording in the story.
You couldn't imagine how the writer could deal.
You feel a presence take a stand by you. You tried to ignore it, but you couldn't help but feel like you were being watched.
You clicked your phone off, and decided to watch a scenery of nature across the street, positioning your head a different angle.
Not today.
You told your paranoia. And for once it listened. For the first time it allowed you to relax, and really ignore the things you should. The things you thought you should.
As you stared at the Gulls picking at the remains of the litter on the grass.
You thought of stopping by that café with the foreign pastries.
Cutting through that abandoned asylum to avoid the crowd on the busy downtown streets, which you were always afraid to do.
You knew home would always be there, but some small opportunities wont always be.
"Do I uh.." The stranger begins. You tense up in shock. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
"I don't think so." You respond, fast in a question like tone. You take a side glance just below the waist line to confirm they weren't holding anything. Judging by the polished dress shoes and the checkered flannel holding up dad jeans, you figured it was best to leave it at that.
"Huh." You hear him respond.
Other then few cars whizzing by and the occupied birds, the street was empty. You get a notification on your phone, which brings you relief that it didn't mysteriously shut off like in the movies.
"She updated! About time." You say to yourself, carful not to let the man hear you.
The picture of Jared she used just made you melt.
If only.
It was definitely your going to be your new lock screen,
The bus to the other town was approaching, that usually comes 2 minutes before the one you were getting on. You looked through your eyelashes to see that he was walking up to the curb ready to get on.
Thank goodness.
"This may sound a little forward but I can already tell that seeing you, will be the best part of my day."
You almost dropped your phone, as you decided to finally look up at him.
That unkept beard, those gladiator glasses.
He gave you that award winning smirk, as he got on and the bus began to drive off.
You began to shout every curse word that came to mind
