A/N
So this is the entire 'Clubs' story. I'm going to be taking chapters one and two down soon in my effort to turn this into a one-shot book. And just a heads up, I'm going to be changing the title and cover soon also.

Starts in John's POV

John sighed as he walked through the empty halls of the high school. Last day before winter break was not a good day to be late to classes. Teachers were giving out large amounts of work and missing any of it could be a death sentence for John's already plummeting grades. It wasn't his fault for his grades though. Standardized tests. The monstrous fill in the blank tests were hard for most, but especially John. They were just so confusing and hard to study for. Luckily, John was going to a study group after school today. Hopefully that would help.

Shouting came from a classroom John had passed. Backing up, he peered in to see what was going on. The voice came from boy his age with dark hair, fair tan skin, and a short frame. He seemed to be yelling at another boy, who was taller and dark skinned with a frizzy mop of brown hair. John recognized the two as Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. They had always had some feud going on between them. John stood there staring at Alexander for a minute. He noticed how the boy's eyes lit up as he argued his point. He spoke with his hands. His arms would fly through the air and helped illustrate whatever point he was trying to get across. John continued to admire Alexander for what seemed like a while until he heard a voice.

"God, he's gorgeous" John thought.

"Can I help you young man?" the teacher who was sitting in the front of the class asked.

All the student's eyes turned to John as his face grew red hot from embarrassment.

"N-no sir" John said, and quickly jogged to his class.

The boy Alexander would stay on his mind for the rest of the day.

Slipping into the classroom unnoticed, John took his seat next to his friend, Lafayette. His tall dark skinned friend sat awkwardly in the small desk.

"Where have you been mon ami?" They asked, shifting position in their chair.

John whispered to his friend about the fact that he had missed his bus and had to walk across town to get to the school. Lafayette laughed at him, the bun atop their head bouncing.

"Shut up" John said and stabbed his friend with a pencil in their thigh.

Laf retorted by pushing John, almost causing him to fall off his chair. The two friends laughed at each other and their dumb antics. The teacher stood at the front of the room and glared at them, mentally telling them to stop.

The day continued without much else going on. John sat with Lafayette and Hercules who would not stop flirting during lunch. John was not surprised by this, the two had been dating since Laf had come out freshman year on valentine's day. He had given Herc a box of chocolates with a note inside saying "some has a crush on you. A non-binary, pan sexual has a crush on you. It's me. I have a crush on you, mon ami ." John had thought that is had been one of the cutest way for his friend to come out. And the fact that Herc had pulled Laf into a kiss right after he read the note proved that.

John looked up from the table and saw the Schuyler sisters walking over to their table.

"Hey guys." Peggy, the youngest of the three and a sophomore said while slipping into a seat at the table.

She was in a bright yellow blouse and denim shorts. She had tan skin a curly brown hair that was up in a pony tail. She smiled so brightly is could light up the entire room. Eliza, the middle sister and a junior, sat next to Peggy and was in a simple blue t-shirt and jeans with her dark hair in two dutch braids. She sat there with elegance that most girls her age didn't have. The oldest Schuyler sister, Angelica who was a senior, motioned for her sister to move to the side and sat between Eliza and Peggy. She had darker skin and straight brown hair. Angelica was in a soft pink sundress the exposed her shoulders. She had wore an off-white jacket to hide the fact that it did. The girls smiled and started chatting with the friends. Somehow the subject of Alexander and the argument he had had this morning came up.
