Alexander loved sitting on the fire escape and looking out at the city. He normally liked to be alone while on his fire escape, but would compromise sometimes. Those sometimes where always when John didn't want Alexander to be alone. When the other boy felt like the fire escape was not a good place for him to spend his time, he would come too. Normally when this happened Alexander would just sit in silence with John. That's what he went on the fire escape for anyway, the fact that another human was there wouldn't change what he did out there. Even if it was John. On the fire escape they'd either be leaning on each other or avoiding each other's gazes. There never was really an in-between.
So today when Alexander retreated to his fire escape he expected no different. He expected to alone and to be left alone even if John made an appearance. Which he in fact did do. Make an appearance, that is.Alexander breathed in a crystal shard of crisp cool air. He was sitting alone on the fire escape with his legs dangling off of it. He had a lost expression on his face, and when he heard the creaking of the old fire escape which meant John was joining him, it didn't falter.
"Hey Alex," John sighed as he sat down and leaned himself against Alexander. Alexander linked their hands. He could feel John smiling. John nuzzled himself closer to Alexander.
"Aren't you cold out here?" John asked, noticing Alexander only had a tee shirt and jeans on despite it being quite cold out. Alexander just shook his head slightly in reply.
"Are you sure? I can grab you something if you are," John said. He had a bit of a worried yet complacent smile on his face. He wanted Alexander to be okay and had decided to focus on the little things right now.
"I'm fine." Alexander's breath turned into a misty white cloud when it hit the sharp cold air.
"Okay then," John put his arms around Alexander. If he wasn't going to accept his offer, John would at least share his warmth. Alexander didn't shy away from this, he simply leaned into it and closed his eyes. He felt safe with John. Loved. He felt like things could be okay. The boys sat like this for a while. They were okay with using the silence as a sort of security blanket for the time being. Alexander like this. He spent so much time talking and spreading ideas that sometimes he just needed to relish in the silence for a bit.
"Alex?" John broke the silence and shifted so that he could see Alexander's face better, "are you okay? You seem, I dunno, more lost the you usually do when you're out here."
Alexander turned himself so that his whole body was facing John.
"I'm fine," he smiled and brought their faces close, their foreheads touching, "I'm just lost in my thoughts. Why?"
"I'm just worried about you," John said, averting his gaze. Alexander gave a small smile.
"Don't worry too much." He brought his hand up to John's face.
"I love you Alex." John gave Alexander a pick on the lips.
"I love you too John," Alexander said, and brought them together for a longer kiss.Hi! It's a bit short but I liked it this way so yeah.
So guys while I was thinking up stuff for what I could write in the future I had this idea stick with me for a bit. I think I saw the AU somewhere online. But like think of this: Hamilton characters as high school teachers. Teachers. Just think of the POSSIBILITIES! Wouldn't it be interesting? I'm just having like a million ideas of what could happen run through my head right now. What do you think about the idea?

Hamilton One-Shots!
FanfictionHi there, so this is just my Hamilton one shot book. So yeah, one shots. Pretty self explanatory, right? It's mostly going to be fluffy lams stuff. I don't think any smut will make it in because I really bad at writing it. I'll most likely have othe...
