Chapter 6 (The Cutest Pout Ever)

*Ashton's POV*

"You know, I'm always here to help you... That's what friends are for right?" then I smiled at her

She just bowed her head and faced the floor again..

It's killing me not to know what the problem is, but I need to give her some space.. Maybe it's family matter

So, instead of forcing a conversation to start between the two of us, I decided it's best if I leave her alone for a few minutes to think...

I stood up from the couch and headed straight to the pink colored door..

I forgot to ask her why did she paint that pink.. Nahh, maybe I'll ask her later

I was about to grab the golden knob when I heard Krista calling my name..

I looked back at her, "Yes?"

"Ca-can I ask you something?" her face has gotten paler making her look more like a ghost.. A pretty ghost that is

"Yeah sure.." I sat back down next to her

"D-do you really think of me as a friend?" our eyes were now locked with each other... Her green orbs were somehow turning lighter

"Of course I do.. Why'd you ask?" well, for me she was now my certified friend.. Even though she doesn't want me to be her friend, I'll still be there for her.. Yeah I know, kinda cheesy..

But it's because I think she really needs one in her life

"It's just that.." she sighed "How can you think of me as a friend when we only just communicated earlier this morning?? And aren't you afraid of me??" she said with a questioning face

"Well, it seems to me that you need a friend to comfort you so I kinda volunteered to do the 'job' and your really fun to be with.." Yeah, like our biking session an hour ago and the project making,, "And why would I be scared of you when your the cutest girl I've ever met in my whole life.." I smiled at her which she returned with her oh-so-adorable smile with a matching blush..

I love seeing that in her face, it makes her much more.. Beautiful

Although, her smile wasn't that perfect.. It's like there's something missing in her smile, and there's something behind it too

"You don't even know what you have volunteered to.. And your lifes gonna be a living hell when you stick around me"

"Well, my lifes already been hell since I became the schools most unwanted nerd" I tried to ease off the pressure that's going around us

She giggled.. God, how I loved the sound of that

"You really are a joker aren't you?" another warm smile formed on her beautiful face

"Yeah, now you can start call me the stuttering joker.." she didn't reply but instead she just laughed at me

"How about we watch a movie?" I suggested pointing to the flat screen in front of us

"Yeah, sure"

She got up and went to her movie shelf..

I bit my lower lip..

I was looking at her bum while she was deciding which movie to pick

Gosh, I'm starting to be a pervert nowadays

She came back holding 'A Cinderella Story' in her right hand..

I released my lip and then my eyes widened..

Oh dear God, we're going to watch a girly movie

Then I saw the cutest pout on her face.. It made my heart skip a beat

She looked like a little girl asking her mother for some candies and chocolates

This girls lucky she's cute or I would've forced her into watching 'Mission Impossible' or 'Fast and the Furious 5' with me

I gave her a nod indicating of my approval..

So now here we are watching this crappy movie.. At least I was sitting next to her

The movie ended and Krista was now fast asleep on my right shoulder..

I pushed away a few strands of hair that was falling on her beautiful face

Ohh God, I could sit here all day long watching her sleep but my shoulders were aching and it looked like she was in a so-uncomfortable position right now..

I looked at her wall clock

It was now 4 in the afternoon.. Shit, I'm gonna be late for work when I don't get going soon

After I took Krista to her bed (Damn, she was as light as a feather), I wrote her a note which I placed in top of her bedside table then I left..

I didn't really want to leave her but I had to..
