Luke Castellan x Reader (Fanfiction)

IV

"Alright, settle down everyone!" Chiron announced.
We all shushed and sat in our seats around the campfire. 

We just finished dinner and now, we are asked for a regular meeting around the campfire but we skipped the songs. I tried to sit alone, far away from Annabeth and Percy. But Nico, Jason, Hazel, Piper and Leo sat near me. 
"Today, we have an announcement." Chiron continued observing the campers, "Tomorrow is Valentine's day, so you'll all know why I decided to put up red, pink and white streamers around the camp."
The campers started murmuring, I spotted Luke at the other side of the campfire, smirking at Chiron, as if he's up to something. 
"I am putting the Aphrodite Cabin in charge of the games and programs happening tomorrow." Chiron added. 
The Aphrodite girls squealed, but Piper who sat next to me rolled her eyes, to cover her smile. 
A camper from the Apollo's Cabin stood, "But Chiron. Don't we just let Valentine slip away, why bother now?"
Some murmured in agreement.
Drew, Piper's half-sister, stood up, "Well, for one thing, why not? It's Valentine's can't we try for one day what it feels like to be normal teenagers without worrying about the monsters beyond our borders?"
Everyone cheered for her as she proudly sat down. 
"I bet she'll just dump her 6 boyfriends around camp," I snickered.
Piper and I laughed causing Jason and Nico to look at us weirdly. 

"Alright, for now. I'm going to give you the rest of the hours for free time. Aphrodite Cabin can make plans, while the others can help prepare." Chiron yelled.
We all murmured and campfire time was over.

I stood, "Good luck, Pipes."
"Ugh, yeah. We're gonna be about love and all, and I'm pretty sure Drew will suggest having a make-out session behind trees."
We both cracked up.
Jason placed an arm on her shoulder, "I'm pretty sure you should get to the beach, Y/n."
I raised a brow, "I don't think so. I'm going to train."
I didn't wait for their responses and went back to Cabin 3 to grab my axe.

I changed into my clothes that I felt comfortable, by that I mean black sleeveless, blue ripped jeans, black and white varsity jacket and converse.
I was about to go out when someone opened the door.
"Hey." Percy said.
"Hey." I replied.
Percy looked vulnerable. Like he was ready to break down and take off his mask as a leader. But besides that, his eyes looked sad.

"Y/n.."
"Percy. I can't talk. I have to train."
But he didn't let me off this time. He blocked my way and held my shoulders firmly.
"Y/n, what am I doing wrong?! I can't stand this anymore! I tried my best to be your big brother, I tried my best to give you what you need, I tried to show you how grateful I am that Dad brought you here, but-" his voice broke, "Why? I can't even talk to you normally. What am I doing wrong??.. I want a little sister, I want to be a decent brother... But I just don't know what I'm missing when it comes to you..."

I stared at him in shock. Percy just begged, I know he knows how, but I never thought he'd do it for me. But aside from that, he started to droop, so we both sat on the floor. His face was buried on my shoulders.
"Percy." I say,
"Y/n tell me what I'm doing wrong.."
"Percy."
"Please y/n.."
"Percy!" I snapped. " Stop. You're being ridiculous. Just stop this."

He raised his head slowly, and when he showed his face, only then I realized he was crying.
Wow, Percy just cried for me.
I'm dreaming, no doubt.

"Percy listen, I have issues, don't take me that seriously. I'm just your sister-"
"Whom to which he never actually met." Luke said.

After the scene Percy made, I didn't know Luke opened the door with Annie.
"Y/n." Luke said softly, "Percy has been trying hard to be your brother."
"At least hear him out." Annabeth added.
I sighed. When it comes to Percy, of course everyone backs up.
"Y/n. I'm allowing you to hang out with Luke, I'm sorry for being a jerk. I'm sorry, for not understanding your issues. But maybe someday you'll trust me enough to tell me?"

I smiled genuinely, "Sure. A marvelous Idea. But one thing first."
He waited.
"We're talking after Valentine's."
He stared in awe then laughed.
Percy hugged me so tight, I could have caught my eyes from popping out of their sockets.

"Thank you." He whispered.

Okay the drama's over. Luke took me to the beach to recover from Percy's breakdown.
We sat on the cold sand and I willed the water to stay away from us, because the waves are a bit rigid tonight.

"So, he apologized." Luke said.
"You told him my story." I stated.
He gasped, "I did no such thing!"
We laughed. Even after drana, I can always rely on my Luke. Oh, haha how did my get there?

"I'm glad you did. Thanks, Luke."
He smiled, "Anything for you."
I paused.
"Oh-Uh - I mean.. Anything to-uh- you know help a friend!"
He laughed nervously. My heart fell.
He only sees me as a friend?  Hmmm..

Silence.

"Hey, y/n." Luke said still staring out to the sea.
I hummed in response.
He faced me with seriousness.
"Will you be my Valentine?"

Hullo!!! I am soooo terribly soorrryy... It has been so long since I last updated.

I had problems with the app, and I couldn't type my stories in my computer anymore. So I had to sneak wattpad app in my mom's phone somehow. And here it is!!!

I hope you like it. I made it out of rush, honestly not my best work.
