As weird as this may seem, it took way longer than we thought to prepare the Camp Prom and move the booths aside so Camp Prom started at 6 pm.

I'm still inside the Cabin, arranging Percy's... everything. Because this guy is self conscious for some reason. His jacket was wrinkled, his tie was lose, his hair was unimaginably messy and his shoes weren't even tied.

"Holy Poseidon, Percy. You seriously are undeniably unhygienic." I commented.

"Hey, I just don't know how to fix myself when it comes to formal occasions." He reasoned out as he stood and looked at the mirror nervously while I tied his tie properly. "I'm surprised you even know how to put on a dress if you haven't been in a normal life."

I scowled and tightened his tie. His eyes were panicking since he was choking.
"I'm sorry, you were saying?"

I loosened his tie and then finished arranging it. He regained his breath and pinched my nose.
"Ow! Hey!"

"Clam head, I could have died!"

I rubbed my nose, "Drama King."

Percy smiled and took something from his pocket. It was a head comb with white flowers covered in crystals decorating it.
"Mom gave this to me, she said to give it to the best girl I'll know."

He placed it on my head, "I was originally gonna give it to Annabeth, but then I met a little sister."

I smiled, well, I guess he is good. I may have misjudged my own brother.
"I'm the best huh?"

He rolled his eyes and took his jacket, "No, because you're my only little sister."

"Hey!" I punched his arm but he caught it, he started tickling me until we bumped the to the door.

Hahahahaha!

We both stopped and stepped outside. The Camp was now like a reception party, there were white lanterns floating, white Christmas lights. Everything was so elegant and yet camp-y.

I faced Percy and smiled, "Well, good luck on big brains out there."

"Yeah you too. Be careful, his dad's the God of Thieves, he might steal your heart."

I laughed, "Oh my Gods, that's 90s!"

Nico came up with Annabeth. He was dressed in a Tuxedo just like every other guy but he looked hot for a guy younger and taller than me.
Annabeth was wearing an elegant turquoise dress, it was long sleeved with silver loops on the hems. Over all she looked amazing.
And Percy's dilated green eyes were classic proof.

Nico snapped his fingers, "Percy, gawking at your girlfriend is no way to spend your very first Prom."

Annabeth and I laughed while Percy blushed.

"You look good, seaweed brain." Annabeth countered, "Did Y/n fix you?"

"I did." I said.

They walked together inside the official entrance, leaving me with hot-Nico.

"Where's your Prince Charming, y/n?"
Nico asked.

"Hmm.. I don't know."

I noticed his tie was loose, why do boys have a hard time tying them?
I walked over to him and arranged his tie.

"Uh, y/n.. What are you-"

"Easy, death jam. Your date might laugh at your loose tie. Lucky for you, knots are my thing."

I finished then taped his chest. He smiled sheepishly.
"Er. Thanks, but I don't have a date."

"Wait, really?"

He sighed then went to the shore, I looked around if Luke was in sight but he wasn't so I decided to see what was wrong with Nico first.
He sat on a giant log with his hands in his pockets.

"How come, Nico?"

He looked at me then bit his lip, like he was unsure if he was going to tell me or not.
"I actually had a girl in mind."

I sat upright, "Really?! That's so unlike you!"

"What having a working mind?" He mocked.

"No, liking a girl!" I laughed, "Anyway, so why didn't you ask her out?"

Nico smiled and shook his head, "She has always had her eyes on this one guy. So I couldn't even ask her."

I slapped his arm, "I hate it when you talk like that."

Nico looked confused, "Like what?"

"Like so forlorn. Look, whoever this girl is, she probably doesn't see you yet perhaps if you really do tell her she might come to notice you."

Nico looked taken aback. It's true though, about what I just said to him. Nico has a great personality under that cloak and dagger, any girl he likes would have been lucky.
He's scared of the rejection the whole world gives him but when he lets one person know that they're another world he's willing to do anything to keep, you'd regret ignoring him.

He looked behind him then back at me, "Hey do you wanna dance?"

I looked at the back where Camp Prom was held and saw everyone doing a slow dance.
"Yeah, sure."

Nico smiled then took my hand formally as we went in the dance floor. I searched my surroundings looking for a tall guy, lean with sandy blonde hair and a giant scar on his face. But none came to view, did he bail? Was he okay? Did he get choked up by his tie too?
So many questions ran through my head that I didn't even notice that Piper and Jason were in front of me.

"Hello? Y/n?" Piper said.

I snapped out of my daze, "Oh, Pipes. Hi."

She looked expectant like that wasn't the response she was expecting. But I shrugged.
"That dress looks amazing, by the way. It matches you."

She looked at Nico then at me, "What happened to Luke? I thought he was your date?"

"Can't find him. Have you seen him?"

"He passed by my Cabin earlier all dressed up. I thought he was heading to your Cabin." Jason said.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "That's odd, I haven't even seen his tuxedo. Where did he go?"

They were silent, not knowing the answer to my question. I'm beginning to worry, Luke's not the person to just leave someone like me hanging.

Piper must have felt awkward because she cleared her throat, "But hey! Don't worry, y/n. I'm pretty sure he's fine. In the meantime, have fun you two."

Then they took off. Piper's right, I should have fun even without my date since this might be our last Camp Prom.
Nico gripped my hand and positioned himself to dance. He placed my hands on his shoulder whilst his wrapped around my waist.

He grinned, "You look amazing tonight, Y/n."

"Are you sure? My face feels heavy because of this make-up." I groaned.

He chuckled, "You're still pretty, it's just a big change from all that axe-throwing chick I know."

I laughed lightly as we swayed to the beat to the music. I placed my head on his shoulder thinking the possible ways where Luke could be.

"Y/n?"

I hummed in response then pulled away to see his face better. His eyes twinkled in desire before his lips met mine.

I was shocked at first, I couldn't move. He pulled away and checked my expression.

"Y/n, I'm-" Nico started.

"Di Angelo!!"

All of our attention went to the bruised-face, blonde guy from the entrance. Luke's hair was now a mess with with dust and his tuxedo was ripped in various places, his orbs flashed of anger and jealousy even from afar.

"Get away from her!"

Nico pushed me out of the way making me land on the floor as I tried to see what was happening.
Luke Charged.
