We made it to the train without breaking a sweat. I sat on a seat in the train whilst Jake sat beside me and we both checked the map of Forks.

"He seemed to have encircled several places so we have to check them out." Jake said.

I nodded, "I guess we do. By t we have to keep a low profile, these places looked like security exists."

I folded the map neatly and sighed back into my seat. I still couldn't get over what happened earlier. It's bad enough that Mr. D wants me out of Camp and how everyone rejects me because of Luke and now Nico whom I have grown to like even just a tad bit talking bad about him too.

I just don't get it.

"Y/n. Earth to y/n." Jake snapped his fingers in front of me snapping me out of my daze.

"Oh sorry. Did you say something?" I asked.

Jake sighed, "Obviously you're not okay. What about that Nico? We left him."

I gritted my teeth, "He can catch up of he wants."

With his shadow travel skills there really isn't much of a worry when it comes to transportation with him.

"I don't mean to pry, y/n. But what exactly are you of Luke's?"

I blushed at this. This is stupid I... Don't blush. But at the question darted to me and Luke's status is nerve-wracking.

"Umm. We're friends. Best friends." I gulped nervously.

Luke hadn't really sealed the deal between us because of the incident at Camp Prom. I have to admit that disappointed me. A lot.
One person I blame for that is Nico.
My blush and nervousness were immediately replaced by anger.

Jake noticed this and cleared his throat. "Bad topic. Uh, let's get your mind off of Nico, shall we?"

I groaned, "You're right, let's talk about you."

He looked at me surprised, "Me? Why me?"

"Because I'm curious how teenagers live normally."

He stared at me for a minute before he finally gave in and sat back.
"Fine. But there's not really much to talk about."

I punched his arm, "Nonsense. So let's talk and the question throws back at me so that we'll be fair. Fair?"

He rubbed his arm, I guess my punches are harder than they seem.

"Alright then."

I smiled, "Where are your mom and dad's whereabouts at the moment? Shouldn't they be worried? You're travelling without their permission right now."

He made a fist. Whoops, I must have asked a touchy subject. But to be fair, my mom and dad's whereabouts are touchy too so this is still a fair game.

"My mom left when I was 3. My dad's in jail due to being a drug dealer. So they don't really care what I do." Jake said.

I pressed my lips to a thin line, then his eyes darted to me.

"What about you? Same question." He said. "Oh, and which of them is your godly parent?"

"My dad is the godly one. You must know.. He who holds the trident right?" I smiled and he nodded. "Then my Mom is probably in Scranton. I'm not really sure, she's a heavy drinker and she abused me since I was so young. I had to run away from home when I was 6."

His eyes scanned my face, "Damn. Have you had it hard with your dad?"

"Oh yeah. Big time. The only time we talked was.. Never."
