VII

I stood in shock as Luke punched Nico straight in the face and sent him flying across the dance floor.

"Nico!" I yelled. I tried to run to him but Percy held my shoulders.

"Stay out of this, y/n." He faced Annabeth behind him, "Get her away."

Percy went to the two boys glaring at each other while Annabeth pulled my arm away.

"Come on, y/n."

I shook my arm out of her grip, "No. I have to go check on Nico."

"Y/n. Percy's orders were firm-"

"Annabeth!" I shouted which made her flinch. "Luke's on beast-mode, if no one stops them Percy might get hurt too!"

She bit her lip, "That seaweed brain can take care of himself. But he won't forgive himself if he sees you hurt in all that mess, as will Luke. You don't want Luke to be in Percy's bad side again, would you?"

I thought for a while. She's right, if I get in the fight and hurt myself, no doubt Luke will blame himself and for sure Percy will blame him.
I decided to just shut up and let Annabeth drag me to who-knows-where as did Piper and Hazel who came up beside Annabeth discussing about the fight.
We made it to the shore, Annabeth finally let my wrist go and smiled lightly.

"You can go cool off in the sea or something. We'll let you be."

Piper tossed me floral shorts and a bra.
"You can wear these, we have the same size anyway."

I smiled amd started to change, "You guys really had everything planned out."

"Well, Percy's overprotectiveness is contagious." Hazel said.

We all laughed and I faced the sea.
I breathed in the cold salty sea air.

"..Wait, Luke don't!" Annabeth protested.

I turned and saw Luke trying to get to me but Piper, Annabeth, Hazel and Jason were holding him back.

"Y/n, go!" Jason yelled.

"No!" Luke interjected. "Y/n I have something to tell you!"

I was so confused I didn't know what to do.
"What?.."

Annabeth gasped, "Y/n, don't listen to him! Remember what I said about Percy! This is bad!"

Before I could even do anything, the sea swallowed me whole and sank me 300ft below.
Now, if I wasn't some water girl I would have died due to peer pressure, but I am so yeah. I looked around, everything was dark and no sign of ny fishes either. Someone must have summoned that giant wave because I sure as Hades did not do anything.

"Y/n."

I turned and saw Percy topless and only in his Swimming shorts.
He crossed his arms, "I told you Luke was not good for you."

"How's Nico?"

He swam closer, "He's fine. Just  jealousy fight."

I sighed which sent bubbles upwards, Percy blew a giant bubble and we both went in.
Inside was dry and warm, but it did the trick, I just wanted to hug my knees.

"I'm so tired with all this drama. Why can't you just accept the fact that I like Luke?"

He sat in front of me, "Y/n. You need to understand that Nico feels the same about you. He set Luke up in a 50ft Chasm just so that he couldn't go to you."

My head shot up, "I'm sorry, he did WHAT?!"

Percy rubbed his face, "Don't blame Nico, y/n. He was driven by mad love, and you know how he works with his emotions, they never end well."
