As i look at the bears on my shelf,
And how the girl keeps her clear glass heart to herself.
I think she keeps her heart away,
Incase the boy leaves one day.
And he's put roses in her hair,
But she still wonders if he truly cares.
Even though he holds her tight,
She still holds her heart with all her might.
She hopes that maybe on day,
She can give her heart away.
She fears this though,
Because the one she gives it to can always let go...
