Draco Malfoy x reader- Cuddles

(Sorry this one's really short)

"You're not supposed to be in here, Draco," I say looking around, panicked. One of my roommates turns in her sleep and I freak out. "You'll get in trouble."

"I'll be fine, princess," he says, kissing my forehead. "Don't worry about me."

I relax a little and put my arms around him. He tightens his grip on me, not wanting to let go of me. We fall asleep with our legs tangled together, close enough to feel one another's heart beating.

The next morning brought clear, sunny skies, well fitting for a Saturday. I'm trying to get up from my keeping position when I hear a growl and am forced back down and remember that Draco is beside me.

I try to get out of bed with no avail. Draco keeps pulling me down and holding me tighter. Now, his grip is so tight I can barely breathe. "Draco-" I gasp out, shaking him with one of my hands. His eyes snap open and he immediately releases me, but gently holds my waist. My eyes crinkle a smidge at the corners as I smile, and he mirrors my expression.

"Didn't know you were so fond of snuggling," I said, the corners of my mouth curling upwards in a knowing smirk.

Draco says nothing.

"Cuddles," I finish.

The nickname stuck.

10 years later

Our six-year old son, Scorpius, giggles as my husband and I chase him down the hall, his platinum hair flying behind him.

I grasp Draco's hand and we stop abruptly. I turn towards him, saying, "Let him."

Draco smiles.

"Cuddles."

It fades.

Five years later

I try to fight back tears as the train leaves the station, and my only son waves at me through a window.

Oh Scorpius, if only your father were here to see you leave for the first time.
