"You're going to die of obesity before we even finish school!" Sirius exclaims, his arms and legs crossed as he sits on the couch opposite Remus and I.
Remus just shrugs, popping another piece of chocolate in his mouth. I reach for a piece, extending my arm towards him, but he slaps my hand away.
"Hey!" I say, taking a piece by force, slapping his own hand away from me. "This chocolate is mine as much as it is yours! And Sirius is right, you need to be careful of how much of this stuff you consume!"
"Hey, Y/n," Sirius wonders, the mischievous look in his eyes making them glint, "If Moony dies, will you go out with me?"
I wiggle my eyebrows. "Why not?", I say, smirking and licking the chocolate off of my lips.
Remus grabs my wrists and pulls me into his lap, burying his face in the crook of my neck. "You will not," he murmurs quietly against my skin, pressing a long, hard kiss to my neck and snaking his arms around my waist.
I pull away to look at him, his eyes mirroring mine. "And why not?", I question, daring him to go on.
The look in his eyes is enough of an answer. "You know why," he whispers, his lips grazing my ear. His finger traces the pearl ring on my right hand- immediately reminding me.
"How many people know we're engaged, Remus?" I whisper, bringing my head back to look at him again, the tips of our noses touching.
"Only Prongs, Wormtail, and Evans know. I didn't tell Padfoot because he's got a huge mouth," he whispers, lips brushing mine slightly.
I crack a small smile. "True."
Sirius clears his throat loudly, reminding us that he is still in the room.
I turn towards him, slightly annoyed.
"What is it, Black?" I ask.
He gives me a look of faux hurt, placing a hand on his chest before opening his mouth to talk. "I was just going to tell you that it's time for bed, so no need to be that rude."
I sigh, getting off of Remus' lap and making my way towards my dorm. "Goodnight, Remus. Black."
Just as I am about to place my foot on the first step, a hand encloses my wrist and another is on my waist, turning me towards them. I look up and see the starry green eyes of my fiance.
He places his lips to mine gently, planting both hands on my hips and pulling me closer to him. "Sleep well," he murmurs after a minute or two, pulling away, brushing his thumb across my cheek.
I head to my dorm in a daze.

The next day
I sigh as I sit on Remus' lap in the Great Hall, my eyes closed and listening to Remus' voice as he talks to the other Mauraders.
I feel him turn around slightly to partially face me. "What's wrong, brown eyes?"
I smile a little. "Nothing, just the fact that school's almost over."
James' voice rings out. "Yeah, but your wedding is coming up! I can't wait!"
My eyes snap open and I bring my head off of Remus' shoulder so quickly I almost get whiplash. "Prongs! You're not supposed to-"
But the damage was already done. Sirius' eyes had widened to the size of saucers.
"Your WHAT?" Sirius bellows, slamming his palms on the table, making everyone within a twelve-foot radius jump out of their seats, panicking.
"Shit." I hear Remus mutter under his breath. We exchange a worried look.
"You didn't tell me that you're getting married?" He yells, and that basically informs the whole entire Great Hall that Remus and I are engaged.
I hold my head in my hands, sighing as I mentally prepare myself for explaining everything to Sirius.

4 MONTHS LATER
I looked him dead in the eye.
"I do."
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now-"
Before the priest could even finish his sentence, Remus had swept me off my feet, kissing me deeply and holding me tightly.
"-kiss the bride."
"How are you feeling, Mrs. Lupin?", he whispers, grinning as he pulled back.
"Brilliant, Mr. Lupin," I replied, and cracked a smile when Remus put me down.
My words were almost blocked out by the sound of James' and Sirius' raucous whistling.

I sat at the small table reserved for the bride, groom, best man, maid of honor, groomsmen and bridesmaids, and took in all of the scene. Sirius- the best man- was at Remus' left and my mum, the maid of honor- was at my right.
A certain song started playing, and Remus and I turned towards each other at the same time. He extended his hand, and I took it without question, and prepared for the first dance of the evening.
Many twirls, giggles, sweet nothings, and turns later, Remus and I were prepared to leave for our honeymoon in Venice, and it was my turn to toss the bouquet-
But I didn't.
I marched straight up to Lily, and gently extended the arm that was holding the bouquet to her. I'm the verge of tears, she embraced me so tightly I could barely breathe. "Thank you," she whispered. I grinned.
I took Remus' arm and we apparated away for some much needed tranquility.
