When Tuesday came around I was nervous. I didn't really know or like this guy. And I was about to go to his house? I had no clue how it would go at all.

Walking into science, I was chatting and laughing with Delaney when Troy came up and tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to look at him.

"Hey! What's up?" He said happily.

"Um hi?" I said, unsure of why he would be talking to me let alone to be seen with me and not any of his more popular friends.

"Don't forget today. I'll meet you at the front. See ya"

"Yeah okay bye."

Delaney gave me a wired look and I looked back at her innocently. I shrugged and walked ahead of her to my seat. I could feel the suspicious look Delaney was giving me, burning into the back of my head.

The rest of the day passed without any further encounters with Troy, but I caught him looking at me a few times. Ha. Weird. He was probably looking past me at someone else.

When school ended, I waved goodbye to Delaney and Athena who were also starting to work on their project today. I made my way to the front of the school and spotted Troy who was talking and laughing with his friends. He turned around and saw me and said goodbye to his friends.

"Let's go cupcake," Troy said with a smirk.

I blushed involuntarily and turned my head away so that he wouldn't see. We kept walking until he stopped. I'm pretty sure my mouth was hanging open.

"This is your 'car'?" I asked with a look of shock plastered on my face.

"Oh yeah, this is my baby," he said, stroking the top of it.

"It's a flipping motorcycle!" I shrieked.

"You got a problem with that?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, looking amused.

"Of course not," I said swallowing nervously. But in reality, I'd never ridden a motorcycle before and I was absolutely terrified.

He got onto his motorcycle while i stood stuck in the same spot on the side walk.

"Well? Are you coming," I nodded but still hadn't moved.

He reached his hand out to me, and I hesitantly placed my hand in his. His hand enveloped mine. They were surprisingly soft.

he pulled me towards his motorcycle and I climbed on behind him. He handed me a helmet, and I was about to put it on till I noticed that it was the only on he had.

"Are you su-"

"Yeah, go ahead take it," he said kindly, without hesitation of any sorts.

I was genuinely surprised by how much of a gentleman he was being. I put the helmet on and pretty awkwardly and gently wrapped my arms around his muscular torso. What the heck why am I even thinking that? I mentally slapped myself.

"You're going to want to hold on tighter if you don't want to fall off and become road kill," he said jokingly.

Hearing this, I didn't plan on arguing. My grip around his torso became tighter. I felt the rumble his light chuckle had caused course through my body, and I shivered. How odd.
