“Ugh no it was getting so good”. For the first time ever I had a good dream. It was the best dream I could ever imagine, but of course my stupid ass of an alarm had to wake me up. I sat up adjusting my eyes to the sun rays that were blasting through my curtains, yanking the covers from my warm embrace the cold air hit my body sending Goosebumps up my arms. I got out of bed headed towards my bathroom to get ready for work. Today is going to be a busy day, first I have to go to the bakery that I own to make sure everything is in order.

And then I have to go pick up Emanuel and Kenzie from my parents’ house and then drop of little Kenzie, and last take Emanuel to his soccer game. God, I need a life… or maybe a man….

Whatever. I did everything I needed in the bathroom, I stride to my closet picking something comfortable and normal. After putting on my clothes I let my hair down in its straight form all ready to go. Going in the kitchen I made coffee to go and basically figured that I would eat at the bakery. Grabbing my phone and keys I was out the door and ready to go.

 “Morning Ma’am” I nodded to each who spoke to me. I was already behind the counter putting on my apron that read ‘Backer’ on the front.

“Morning everyone I hope you guys are having a great morning as well” It was excitement that i wanted to spread this morning, and for some reason I felt like today was going to be a good day. Everyone was moving about arranging things and cleaning up before we opened up. I can admit that my bakery shop is really cute, it has everything that I need like, cake, doughnuts, and cupcakes, edible fruit everything you name it. So since im the only bakery on the street I have the best business known.

“Where opening in ten you guys, so get ready” I yelled so that everyone could here. My attention was caught by one of my best friend Stacy she was something like Morgan but more free and caring, I mean Morgan is caring but if I asked Stacy to let my relationship status of being single go she wouldn’t stop for nothing to find me a new somebody.    

“Well, well look who’s all awake and full of sunshine. What got you all spiritual” she smiled pulling on her apron, but before I could answer like always she jumped to conclusions. “Wait… did you have sex and didn’t tell me? You dirty dog”. God what’s wrong with this girl.

“Gosh woman, no I did not have sex with anyone, and if I did I wouldn’t tell you” I accused pointing a finger at her. Her hand landed on her heart as if I heart her feelings. I rolled my eyes at her acting; what a drama queen. “And for your information I can be happy and joyful without getting laid”. Even if I would get hormonal off and on.

“Yea not for me, what he gives… I receive” she whispered seductively.

Ten minutes later we were open and ready for business, and already packed, like that’s new. Every person that comes through the door like every morning was greeted with a welcome or a good luck to their family. About an hour later things were going great and money was flowing in.
