A/N: Episode 2: 7/10. It was good, but there was a lot of open-ended stuff. Alec never kicked any ass like I wanted him to :(. But Dot came back and I was happy! I hate Jocelyn still. My baby is hurt and I'm sad.

Lucky's Apartment

Lucky sat impatiently on the couch, a sleeping Candy cuddled into her thigh. A random movie was playing on the TV, but Lucky wasn't paying attention to it. It had only been two days since her mother called her, saying that she and the rest of the family were coming to visit. That would mean her mother Janet, her father Damon, and younger sister Kelsey were coming.

Lucky didn't have the best relationship with her parents. After she went to college, her parents stopped calling. For 2 years, not one single text or call or even email from anyone. Lucky mainly thought it was because her family suddenly decided to hate her for her sexuality, or maybe because she didn't go to Yale like her mom and dad wanted her to. It wasn't until her last year in college when she found out what was really going on.

She had driven down to Tyler (Texas), where she was born and where she grew up. She knew her mom and dad never wanted to move away from the area, so she knew exactly where they lived. When she had arrived at the house, no one was there. She went inside, using a spare key that was under the mat on the porch, and saw many pictures around of Kelsey. In almost all of them, she was in a hospital with an oxygen tube in her nose and wires connected to her body. As well as that, Kelsey was also bald.

Lucky had quickly driven to the hospital and demanded that she see Kelsey Montgomery as soon as possible. The lady at the front desk kept saying, "Only family can see her." Lucky tried explaining the fact that she was Kelsey's older sister multiple times, but she stopped when the clerk said one life changing sentence.

"Miss, Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery have disclosed to me multiple times that Kelsey is an only child."

Lucky remembered the tears that streamed down her face. She remembered screaming at the clerk that it was a lie; that she was indeed Kelsey's sister. She only stopped when a pair of doors opened, revealing Janet and Damon Montgomery.

"How could you?!" Lucky had yelled at them through her tears, "How could you not tell me Kelsey has cancer?! How could you lie and say that she's an only child?! HOW COULD YOU PRACTICALLY DISOWN ME?!"

In response, Janet only fixed her posture and said, "You are a woman, Lucille. Women do not embarrass themselves in a sad place like this."

"That's what you're saying?! That's ALL?! Where's Kelsey? I want to see her."

There was a very long and tense pause.

"NOW!" Lucky screamed, "I WANT TO SEE MY LITTLE SISTER NOW!"

Almost on cue, the same doors had opened, and a nurse pushed a young teenager into the lobby in a wheelchair. She had no hair on her head, no eyebrows to be shown. But Lucky knew it was Kelsey from the glow of her hazel eyes.

"Lucky?" Kelsey had asked softly, slowly standing up and out of the wheelchair, "Are you actually here?"

Lucky had turned to Kelsey and smiled, nodding her head and saying, "I am. I promise I am."

The two sisters hugged each other tightly. It had been years since they had seen the other last, and it was a wonderful moment. Their parents only stood there like dead robots:  still and emotionless.
