Your friend was supposed to pick you up at the mall hours ago. By this time the Mall already had closed.
And on top of that it all, it was raining.
You sighed and looked back at the security guard that was now locking the big glass door.
His huge key ring making chingling noises as he turned it this way and that.
He nodded at you before heading off to leave for the night.
You sighed again and sat on the curb. You laid your head in your hands and pulled your legs close to your chest, trying to keep dry.
Then suddenly you felt a big warm jacket swarm around you.
You looked up and saw a figure in the rain sitting next to you on the curb.
"You shouldn't be out here by yourself." The figure said.
It was definitely male, considering his voice.
"Then why were you?" You asked.
"My parents were fighting, I decided to go for a walk." He explained, a tint of sorrow in his voice.
After a minute of dead air between the both of you he asked if he could take you home.
"I have to warn you, I live pretty far." You said.
He laughed.
"(Y/N), I have a car."
You looked at him strangely.
"How do you-"
"Know your name?" He finished your sentence.
He laughed again.
"I go to your school, (Y/N)." He smiled.
Now you remember the cute emo boy that always sat in the corner of the room, listening to music with headphones around his neck.
You would usually find him drawing amazing things like people. And he was one of the best drawers you've ever seen.
