After the fiasco at the store you couldn't keep you mind off of Gage. And after a few days (which seemed like an eternity to him) you decided to call him.
You picked up your phone and dialed his number. You waited, suspense building with every second he didn't pick up, and then he did.

Gage: Hey, who is it?
You: It's that (girl/guy/person) from the store that you gave your number to.
Gage: Which one?
You: ...
Gage: Naw, I'm only kidding. Your the only one that I gave my number to recently.
You: Recently?
Gage: Okay, rewording - 'The only one I gave my number to.'
You: Better.
Gage: So how are you?
You: Good, how about you?
Gage: Fantastic now that you called. I thought you didn't like me and that I wasn't going to see you again.
You: No, I like you.
Gage: That's good cuz I like you too. Do you wanna go get Ice Cream at 10:00 tomorrow?
You: Yeah! That sounds great.
Gage: Okay, see you then, hot stuff.

You blushed as he hung up the phone and you were instantly happy for the rest of the day.
