Once, on a mission, Sara ran into a 17 year old Leonard Snart with his sister, Lisa. She remembered this scene from a story Leonard had told her once while playing cards. He had been taking a walk with Lisa on a hot day, and when they had returned, Lewis had a drunken outburst and hit Leonard in the arm with a broken beer bottle. Sara went up to Leonard and Lisa, and gave them money to go to the fair that was in town, in hope of avoiding the incident that would happen. The next time Sara saw Leonard, the scars on his arm were gone.
