Lies/daydreaming

Our food finally came after a very awkward silence and staring.

How could Niall just lie to me and say she is on vacation?

How could she lie to me for 16 years.!?

I should of seen it coming.

My avocado eggrolls are amazing. I can tell Niall likes his burgers cause he inhaled one in 5 minutes.

Nothing has changed.

"Do you like your food or-?" Niall asked breaking me out of my thoughts.

He has finished his food, I have barley made 3 dents.

"Yeah. It's amazing. I'm just thinking. Sorry."

"Maybe you shouldn't think so much, You know."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing."

Lie

"That's a lie. Tell me." I say while taking another bite of my now cold food.

"I just."

"Just what?"

"You think to much. In class you stare at the walls, never moving an inch. It's like instead of learning you freeze. Daydream. But when you're frozen you seem to pick everything up. And get A's on most of your quizzes."

He watches me in class!

"Wait. You watch me in class?"

"Uh- O-of corse not."

He defends. He's stuttering. When he lies he stutters. he probably doesn't think I remember that about him. Well he thought wrong.

"Then how do you know I daydream?"

"I don't."

More lies.

I raise my eye brow.

"My mates. Friends tell me."

Sure.

"Lets go."

"But I didn't finish."

"To bad. You're to slow. I'm going to pay when I get back we are leaving."

"Yes sir." I replied giggling.

He acts like a dad.

I wonder what my dad was like.

He was probably handsome and funny.

Probably every woman wanted him.

I chucked just at the thought of my 'mum' getting jealous.

"Are you done?"

Shit. Why does this have to keep happing. Not one more bite taken.

I shake my head.

"Whatever lets go."

He replies roughly grabbing my shoulder.

I take 1 eggroll as we take off and follow him to his car.
