Call from mom?!

Call from mom? I haven't heard from her in over a month.
"Hello?" I asked just above a whisper.
"DIana?! Oh my god. Come home please now. We need to talk. I l-ov-e y-ou." She said then hung up.

What does she mean we need to talk.

As I walk in my house there's my mom and a man? Huh

"Diana come here."
"Okay what's up."
My mom looked with quilt and happiness in her eyes.
"Mom? What's going on?"
"Sit down diana." The man says.
I sit down and they begin to talk.
