God,how much I hate the press in this moment.Annabeth did the last she could have done.She went after my family.Worst part? My own blood was the reason she went after my grandfather.Karina is so lost when I get back on my feet.
Then there's Maddison.
When I think I couldn't love her more,she steps up for my family.Maddison was very and deeply wrong in how she solved the problem.As her deputy,I hated how she acted but deep inside my heart,I loved what she did.
When I went to confront her,she basically confessed she was jealous of Eleanor.I shouldn't have felt what I felt but I felt a sudden happiness.Maddison will never love me like I love her.I will never confess how I feel.It isn't a two way street.
'Keith,do you need something?' Cristina asks taking me off my thoughts.I look up and she smiles.My best friend sits down next to me and takes my hand squeezing tightly.
'I...' I start but I stop.I take a deep breath and let myself be hugged by Cristina.
'Maddison called; she is worried.' Cristina tells me as she rubs my hair.I don't respond so she continues.
'Jasper also called...Report or something like that.He didn't tell me,though.Only asked for you to call back.' Cristina's information makes me immediately sit down straight and fetch my phone in my pants pocket.
I quickly dial Jasper phone.It is the middle of the night but if Maddison followed my instructions,which I sincerely hope she did,she is in Kensington.
"Manchester.'' Jasper answers.
"Report.'' I'm direct.
"The princess had a long conversation with her aunt,the Duchess eldest sister and then she left the room.She asked me to take her to Chelsea." He reports.
"Where in Chelsea?'' I ask not following.
''She said she wanted to go home.She asked to drive alone and I followed behind.I don't recognize the building but the doorman recognized her." He tells me.Jasper in new in Maddison security detail so I don't expect him to know her apartment in Chelsea.
"Manchester,she didn't go to her place." He continues.I get up immediately.
"Thanks,Jasper.If she was recognized by the doorman,she must have gone to her aunt Kim apartment.She is safe.Keep guard." I say before I hang up.
There's a ton of places Maddison could have gone but right now I don't want to worry about that.I need to go home and get some sleep to face the following day.
'Wanna a ride home?' I ask Cristina who immediately nods.We have been inside this hospital for hours now.We need to give my grandpa a rest and staying in this waiting room isn't helping anyone.
Me and Cristina were leaving the hospital when I spotted Eleanor.Crap,not this woman now.
