Sometimes I like to dream about what it would be like if you were mine.

I feel embarrassed writing that down, but it's only natural. Anyone would be blessed to be with you. I can't help but wonder what it would be like if maybe, just maybe, you were mine.

I know for a fact that I'd treat you like you're priceless (which you are). I'd buy you all the chocolate in the world. I'd get you flowers at least once a week, just so you know that I'm always thinking of you. I would cuddle you in front of a cozy fire. I'd keep you warm at night, I'd hold your hands in mine so that my warmth spreads to you. I'd let you put your feet under my thighs if they're too cold. I'd run my hands through your hair and kiss you and tell you how special I think you are. I'd treat you right.

I think it's just a complete fantasy, though. There's no way you'd ever want to be with me. I'm your best friend, aren't I? You can't possibly be interested in me like that.

It's okay, though. I'm completely fine with being your friend. As long as you're in my life, I'll be fine.
