The sun was setting over the blue-green water, casting a golden glow across the sky. Braden and Peyton walked the cliff just above the wide lake, hand in hand.
Looking over at Braden, Peyton giggled and skipped ahead. Letting go of Braden's hand, he looked in her direction. "Hey!" He protested, walking a little faster.
Peyton looked over her shoulder and smiled at him, sticking out her tongue. "Sorry" she shrugged. "Your to slow."
Jogging to keep up with Peyton, Braden chuckled to himself. Having heard the light hearted chuckle Peyton spun around, only to be swept off her feet.
"BRADEN PUT ME DOWN!" Peyton screeched, lightly hitting his back. "Nope. Sorry princess, I'm afraid I can't do that" he smirked, shifting her weight on his shoulder.
Walking up a small slope, Braden dropped Peyton into his arms, now carrying her bridal style. "Better?" He asked, meeting her hazel eyes. "Not really." She muttered looking away, obviously not wanting to be carried.
Reaching the top of the slope, Peyton took in the breathtaking view. Laid out before her was a velvet red blanket under the oak tree, a lantern with a small yellow flame, and to top it off, the perfect view of the sunset.
Walking over to the blanket, Braden placed Peyton down gently as of she was glass that would shatter at the slightest touch. "You planned this?" She asked. "All I did was ask to go on a walk. How did you know we would come here?" Peyton looked around.
"This is your favorite place." He sat down next to her. "But I took a wild guess." Peyton laughed and all Braden could do was stare. Her laugh was like music to his ears, the most beautiful thing he's ever heard.
Peyton looked over and caught him staring, meeting his golden orange eyes, she whispered smiling sweetly. "Thank you. It's beautiful." But he didn't respond.
"Braden?" Peyton asked. No response. "Braden?" She asked again. Still nothing.
Breaking eye contact for a second, Braden glanced at her soft lips, before leaning in slowly. Meeting his lips with hers, both pairs of eyes fluttered closed.
Moving his hand to caress Peyton's cheek, their lips slowly started to move in sync. They both smiled into the kiss before breaking apart.
Opening her eyes slowly, Peyton snuggled into Braden's chest muttering 'I love you'. He wrapped his arms around Peyton before laying on the blanket. "I love you too princess" Braden kissed the top of her head.
The two of them watched the sun disappear into the water, and the moon and stars appear in the dark blue sky. Glancing down at Peyton, Braden saw she feel asleep in his arms. "Good night Peyt" he whispered before slipping into a dreamless sleep himself.

Hai! So I know it's been a while and this is a longer story then normal but my friends were writing stories to each other so I did this for fun and showed them. They said it was really good, and I was like "thanks it's my first time writing a story like this" and then I remembered my book here, and I was like 'you know what I'll post it' so here it is.
And what I can just say is, it took like ten minutes to figure out a name for this story because I didn't have a picture to think of a story this time.
But I hoped you liked it. :)
