The treasure has been buried on an island for years. But after rain has come havoc on the island, it disappeared underneath the waters surface.
Only a few people know about the treasure, and has tried to recover it. They sent scuba divers and tried to get it themselves. But nothing seemed to work.
When word got out, everyone went after the treasure. Boats scattered the lake. People fighting and yelling. Some were threatening others.
Soon the government banned the lake and guarded it from the public. But the original group who wanted the treasure came back when the lake dried up a bit. They hopped the fence surrounding it, plunging in the water once again.
The water was cold but they kept pushing forward. Once they found the spot the map showed, they dug and dug in the mud. The chest uncovered and floated upward slowly giving them enough time to grab it.
One of the group members opened the chest, only to find that it was empty and someone beat them to the treasure inside.
