Knocking On Your Heart // ongoing

Summer rolls by fast enough leaving all the summer kiss and memories behind. It's now August, and school is starting soon enough, I started to catch up with Jo before the school start.

  Its traditional really, we decided to have our yearly night out before the start of school, to catch up on everything that happened during the summer. So that when school rolls by we wouldn't chatting away and not listening to the teacher. Jo doesn't really care about that, though, I'm the one who came up with that idea.

  " Hey Margaret, I miss you, girl" She said as she pulled me in for a hug

  " I miss you too, and bitch what dismay about that name"

  " It reminded me of a grandma that wears floral prints and bake on the weekend" She quoted me.

  " exactly! And yet you still uses it every time" I pointed out.

  Jo cut me and dragged me into Crab&Claw. " I've been craving this since last week you don't understand."

  The food started to arrives and when Jo look up at me, questioning.

  She looked down at her phone and back at me before handled me her phone and said:

 " check this out Mags"

  I glanced down at the too bright screen and squint my eyes in order to see what's on the screen. A photo of a boy and a girl kissing with neon lights coloured over the picture. The photo seems to be taken from far away with zoomed in lens. When I scrolled down a little, the photo was send to Jo by Naomi, Alina's friend.

  The text reads:

" Hey Joanna, pls ask Maggie if this is her in the pic, Alina's been freaking out about this picture that's probably from Madison's party in July. Ally wanted to me to ask you to ask Mag that is it her in the picture with Peter. thx"

  " What the fuck" I mutters under my breathe.

  "Is it you? Doubt it though those bitches be stirring up drama like shit" Jo asks.

  There's some bad blood going on between Jo and Alina since last year, when Alina stirred up rumours about Jo sleeping with her cousin from UVA. They didn't sleep together for as long as I know, but they did talked for a bit. But maybe Ally got talking and fucking mistaken, because then the whole high school thought Jo hooks up with Ally's cousin from UVA. And the nickname " sluttyJoJo" doesn't died down until the end of sophomore year.

" Jo I think I need to tell you something" I carefully look up at her

  After I filled her in about what happened between me and Peter at that Party. I says:

  " I mean it's barely dusk when he kissed me, and I'm assuming that Ally and Peter didn't hooked up till late that night. So its not cheating-cheating , right?" I rushed out.

  Jo gave me a thoughtful look before she replied: " yea, but remember that Ally bitch is not logical enough to think about that, just lied, who cares" she shrug.

  I give it another though. I mean, the boy's face is not clear, but my face is clear to the screen that its no use to lie that it's not me. With that, I decided to type a reply:

" Hey Naomi, this is Maggie. Yes that's me in the pic, but tell Alina that it's not Peter in that pic"

I hit sent.

  The next three words would totally give anyone a "wtf" look. But it's too late to delete after i hit sent.

"It's Colin Karsten."

Hey! I updated this chapter just 1 day after I updated the previous, so this chapter is super short, sorry about that! (it's a filler chapter kinda). Hope y'alls enjoy!
