Kyungjoo's POV

I sat on Rose's bedside and held her hand. I've been taking care of her since she's been admitted.

I didn't want to distract the boys anymore so I didn't tell them.

Rose has been hanging on a thread. She has nearly died a couple of times.

It's already been about two months since the surgery, why isn't she waking up?

A knock came from the door and Namjoon walked in.

He looked at Rose as he made his way towards me. "How is she doing today?"

We both glanced at the fragile body next to us. Her skin is as white as the gown she's wearing. Raising my head I whispered, "She's okay. The nurse said that she's been pretty stable."

He gave me a small smile, "Do you wanna get some coffee?"

-

"How are the guys doing?" I asked as I messed with my cup.

He released a hard sigh, "They're doing better but V isn't doing well. He doesn't come out of his room. I'm worried about him."

As V was mentioned it hit me, I haven't apologized for what I did. He ducked his head down trying to get a good look at me, "What's wrong Kyungjoo?"

Next time I see him, I'll let him know. I didn't mean to...

I lifted my face, "H-He is in as much pain as Rose is. I sit outside her room and listen to him. He really misses her."

Rose's POV

The bright light of the white room we entered blinded me. Two figures were sitting by the window, as I grew nearer I recognized them.

Kyungjae looked like he hasn't slept in days. "Do you think she has a chance of waking up?"

His mother struggled to contain her true emotions, "The odds are against her, but she can do it. I know she can, she's a fighter! That's why she's dealt with it for as long as she has."

The woman held my hand and we started walking, "Don't you see? You have people who love you and believe you can overcome this."

"Then why does it feel that I'm just putting them through misery," I mumbled as I fiddled with my gown.

She looked forward, "Love comes in many forms, it's not always about happy memories. You have to go through pain in order to appreciate the beautiful moments in life."

We came to a halt and the sight of Namjoon and Kyungjoo together was joyful. If I were to never return, I know that he would cherish her and care for her.

Continuing our walk we left the two. "Let's go see how the others are doing."

Jungkook's POV

Do you ever get the feeling that someone's with you? Not physically, but they're there. It's silly but I go into Rose's apartment and I talk to her as if she was.

Everything is exactly how she left it as if time stops once you enter. Going into her room you can still smell the sweet scent of perfume. She has so many pictures of us.

A part of me came back to life and I reminisced through all the times we've shared together.

A photo of Rose and I caught my eye. "Noona, do you remember the day we went sightseeing in Jeju?"

"We went to the store and the woman thought we were a couple and you got so red." I slightly chuckled at the thought.

I glanced at the photo once more with great detail. "I'm sorry for not visiting you. I miss seeing you, but I don't think I have the strength to see you like that.

Rose's POV

I was completely broken. I wanted to embrace him and tell him that it's okay. He has grown so much, he might notice but he truly has.

"You're such a pabo, I told you not to call me noona," I said to him in a trembling voice.

He slowly walked out of the room and went to his apartment. Entering I saw the others watching tv or were talking.

"Jungkook is that you?" Jin said from the kitchen. He took off his shoes, "Yes hyung, has V eaten yet?"

Jin walked into the living room with a frown, "He hasn't touched any of his food. Can you please go check on him?"

My body grew stiff. What's wrong with him? Is he sick? She made a gesture, "Let's go find out."

Taehyung's POV

Kookie came in and sat by me. "Aren't you going to eat hyung?"

I didn't respond and continued to look out the window. Playing with the ring I had on.

He got up and headed for the door but stopped, "Noona wouldn't want you to be like this."

When he was out of sight my face fell. As each day passes by my hope of her coming back to me diminishes.

Pulling out a small container of pills I whispered to myself. "Do you think if I take these, we'll be together again?"

Rose's POV

The fact that he would kill himself to be with me was unrealistic. As much as I love him, I would prefer for him to forget about me.

She took a step forward, "I have never seen such passionate dedication. When you left he has been thinking about you constantly."

Tears started to slip from her eyes, "Are you ready to make your decision?"

The earth began to transform into shades of black and white. Strong gusts of wind appeared and I could no longer see the woman. "What's happening?!"

Two objects were presented before me. "You have to choose one!"

One was a crystal and the other was a withering rose. "What does this mean?!"

The wind grew stronger, "Symbols of what will happen to you. Now choose!"

The portals began to close and I ran and grabbed it. The winds stopped and the woman came to me. "Are you sure this is what you want?"

I nodded my head in agreement and hugged her, "Thank you for everything."

She started to walk away, "Wait!"

She turned with a beaming smile. "I never got your name."

Her voice echoed, "Just call me Angela."

With that, she walked into the light and disappeared.

Kyungjoo's POV

Going into her room I saw someone looking at the window. The bed was empty.

The person turned with curiosity, "Where am I?"

The glass I had slipped through my fingers and fell to the ground, sending shards in every direction.

Her brown hair slightly brushed her shoulders. The color of her lips and cheeks were bright pink.

She woke up.
