Chapter 26: Dilemma

Rose's POV

The dream came back every night. It was in different versions but it always ended the same way.

You have to remember!

It was the only thing I could think of. The only thing that was allowed in my head. I felt a nudge, "Are you okay Rose?"

Suga was slightly biting his lip, "I'm fine. Thank you."

The boys decided to take me out for the day. Saying they had the day completely planned. This should be the most exciting day of my life. A day with BTS! But I feel that my presence has caused them to feel down.

The van stopped and Jin turned, "We're here!"

J-Hope's POV

We decided to recreate the day we took her to the restaurant and mall.

She hasn't slept in days. Her cries and screams can be heard through the walls. Her hands were slightly shaking. I'm worried.

I talked to the siblings about Rose. They said she leaves scratch marks all over her arms.

Guess that's why she's been wearing long sleeves. To cover the marks and make sure that the others don't worry. Something is going on, is she fighting her memory?

We were at the restaurant when auntie came to our table. "You guys are back! And you brought the lovely girl with you!"

Her eyes shifted to us, she has no recollection whatsoever. Despite that she played along, "Nice to see you madam."

The owner tapped her arm, "I already told you to call me auntie."

She slightly moved her head up and down. Awkwardness spread through the table as she slowly took her seat next to Jimin and I. Jungkook leaned onto the table, "What do you think of the place Rose?"

She looked around with interest, "It's cozy...I like it"

Auntie brought us our food and drinks and left with a smile. "Who is she?" 

Her face was pure, filled with wonder. Suga had just put his cup of water down, "She's the owner of this restaurant. We have known her since we've debuted."

"This was our chill spot during our trainee days," Namjoon added. A pair of chopsticks placed a piece of meat on her bowl. When Rose looked at the owner, her eyes had a hint of interest, one that shouldn't be present. 

Namjoon's POV

After the delicious meal, we parked near the mall filled with parked cars. She pushed the doors out of her way and gasped, taking in the infamous view. "This is amazing! There's so much to do!"

There it was, just like before. Jungkook busted out laughing, genuinely. She came and started to whack him, "Why are you laughing?"

He continued to laugh as he rubbed his arm and she gave up trying to hush the maknae. She went to Jin hyung and tugged on his sleeve, "Can I go with you?"

A glow came to his face, "Of course Rose. I have the perfect store to take you." His hand took a hold of her wrist and they were off.

It's working.

Rose's POV

Kookie is so...Aish! Why would he laugh at me like that?

"I found an outfit for you!" Jin presented a short pink dress. The delicate fabric slipped through my fingers. I was astonished by the detail and precision of the sewed-in jewels.
