Chapter 29: Home?

J-Hope's POV

I stuffed my mouth with some french toast, the sweet fluffy bread was like biting into a cloud.

"How's the food?" Rose asked with her signature smile, intrigued by my gestures.

As I cleared my throat, I raised my hand, giving her a thumbs up. "It's amazing as usual."

When I got up the others were still sleeping, so I came to Rose's place.

I noticed that she had a bracelet on her wrist. The sterling silver chain carried dangling magenta stones. This is my first time seeing the beautiful trinket. "Where did you get the charm bracelet?"

She glanced at it before answering with a smile, "Someone's very dear to me gave it as a present."

Her phone started to go off, so she excused herself from the table and went to her room.

Rose's POV

A picture of my father and I popped onto the screen. After excusing myself, I answered the call.

Even though they're in Korea, my parents have been busy with the company so we haven't spent much time together.

After making small talk his voice lowered. "Come back home with us, you've already achieved your goals here."

I stayed silent.

"Think about it, honey. We still have two weeks of meetings to attend to, but I would like an answer."

With that, he hung up.

Home? What about the guys?

Jungkook's POV

"Come on Rose, the sooner we get there the more rides we can get on!" I yelled while pulling her to the entrance.

The others are chickens when it comes to rollercoasters, so when Rose said she wanted to go I had to take her.

She giggled, "Okay, but it's not like it's going anywhere."

After paying for our tickets we went to an easy one, to warm up.

It was a smooth ride until the sudden drop. All I could hear were the screams of the other passengers. I laughed to myself and tried to take in the view.

I absolutely love roller coasters. They make your heart pump and let you live in the moment.

-

We were walking through the exit of a ride when I heard a sigh. "No offense Jungkook but these rides aren't that scary. When are we going to ride...that one?!"

She got a hold of my arm and pointed to what looked like a skyscraper. I gazed at the abomination, man this chick has guts.

Rose must have noticed my reaction because she started teasing me. "Don't tell me that the golden maknae is afraid of a ride?" She said with a taunting smirk.

I've never been the type of person to back down from a bet and there's no way I'm going to start now.

Returning the smirk, I responded. "Oh, you're so on."

Rose's POV

I happily skipped out of the exit of the ride I taunted Jungkook to get on. "That was amazing! We have to go back on...are you okay?"

He was stumbling with his hand on his stomach. His face was two shades lighter than normal. Maybe this was a bad idea.

I made my way back to him and started patting his back to help ease his discomfort, "We've had enough riding today, don't you think?" He agreed and we sat on a bench.

After a while he regained his strength as well as his skin color, "It was a really fun ride. I just regret eating that corn dog."

He chuckled at his mistake. I flicked him on the head, "I told you, but no. You know everything."

Laughter escaped my lips as he combed his hair. As I gazed at the lively spirit in front of me the smile on my face disappeared, a random thought came to me.

We were laying on a bed. Tears slipped down my face. He kissed me and told me that he loved me and I fell asleep in his arms.

Jungkook, you get bullied so much by your hyungs. They fail to realize how mature you've become. The kindness and care you bestow upon others is like no other. You'll never understand how much I need you in my life.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, "Rose are you alright?"

Turning to Kookie, I grinned. "Everything is just fine."

Namjoon's POV

"Hello? Rose are you here?" Peeking inside, no one was in sight. I went in as carefully as possible. I carried a gift basket of our new album and some other merch.

She's going to love this.

After positioning the gift I pulled my arms back. I heard a loud crash and looked at the floor. Crap.

Broken glass decorated the floor like confetti. The picture of us was under all of it. She's going to kill me for this.

Looks like I lived up to my name once again. Sweeping the shards away I began to clean my mess. I need to find a frame for this-

There was a white envelope peeking out behind the picture. "Open" was written on the front.

I did what was instructed and read the contents. My arms fell to my sides in disbelief. This can't be what I think it is.

~~~~~~~
Hey guys!
This chapter is pretty short compared to the others. Hopefully, it was just as entertaining.
