Chapter 5

Gerard's POV
Jade came down the stairs with Frank following behind her just as Lyn-Z and Bandit came through the door.
"My little Bandit!" Frank shouted as he saw her. He ran past Jade and picked up Bandit. Lyn-Z came up to me and kissed me before smiling. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.
"Who are you?" Bandit asked when Jade came into her view.
"This is your new sister Bandit. Her name is Jade and she's sixteen." Frank said to Bandit. He put Bandit down. Bandit walked cautiously over to Jade.
"I'm Bandit Lee Way. I'm six years old." Bandit said.
"Do you want a hug?" Bandit asked.
"I don't mind a hug but sure you can have one." Jade answered. Bandit latched onto Jade's waist and slowly Jade returned it. I saw something poking out from her sleeve.
"Hi Jade, I'm Lyn-Z." Lyn-Z said with a smile. Bandit went over to Mikey and Ray and sat on their laps.
"Hi." Jade replied quietly with a small wave and a smile. Her and Frank went and sat down on the bean bags. Jade lent into Frank's chest.
"Do you want to order pizza?" I asked Lyn-Z.
"Yeah of course." She answered with a smile. She kissed my cheek and went into the kitchen. I sat down on the couch near Jade and Frank. I picked up on the thing poking out of her hoodie again.
"Hey Jade what's that?" I asked pointing at the white material that covered her wrist. She instantly pulled down her sleeve as she looked at me in horror. Frank bit his lip like he knew something.
"Oh, i-it's n-nothing." Jade stuttered.
"Can I see then?" I asked. Jade shook her head. I frowned.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because it's my body and I can't trust you if demand to see it." Jade replied angrily. I looked into her distressed eyes and sighed.
"I only want to help you Jade." I said.
"Well I don't want you to help me." Jade hissed before disappearing to her room.

Jade's POV
I sat between the toilet and the cupboard in my bathroom with my headphones in. What if he found out? What if he found out? He'd only send me back. He'd get rid of me like everyone else did. I rested my head on the toilet seat and closed my eyes whilst "Hold On Till May" by Pierce The Veil echoed in my ears. I rubbed my wrist where I had my new cuts. It was slightly itchy.
A knock came on the bathroom door. I took my headphones out and paused my music.
"Jade, it's Mikey. Pizza is here and Gerard wants to talk to you." The voice said.
"I'm not hungry and Gerard can fuck off." I replied.
"You have to eat Jade and Bandit wants  to see you." Mikey said.
"Then you can fuck off too." I shouted back through the door.
"Let me in Jade. Please." Mikey begged.
"I'm not in the mood Mikey. Please just go away." I said.
"I'm not going anywhere Jade. Please just let me in." Mikey pleaded. I lifted my head off the toilet and shuffled a bit to open the door. I swung the door open to the 5'10 monster standing on the other side of the door. Mikey sat down opposite me.
"Come on you've gotta come eat. I know your pissed off at Gerard but he hates it when people are pissed off with him." Mikey said.
"I'm not hungry." I replied as I looked at my hands.
"When did you last eat?" Mikey asked slowly.
"Why does it matter?" I asked.
"Because we don't want you to be ill missy." Mikey answered.
"The last time I ate something was this morning at breakfast." I lied. Mikey looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"Now who are you trying to fool here? I'm not my brother or Ray or Frank who are dim witted idiots so tell me when did you last eat something?" Mikey asked.
"Three days ago." I sighed. I pulled on my sleeves again.
"What are you trying to hide?" Mikey asked suspiciously.
"Nothing. I'm just self conscious." I answered with a smile.
"Okay. You need to come eat something." Mikey said.
"It will make me fat. You don't understand. I want Frank." I replied.
"Why Frank?" He asked.
"Because I trust the midget." I answered with a smile.
"I'll get Iero for you but I'm telling Gerard that you haven't been eating." Mikey said. I shook my head.
"You can't." I said. Mikey tilted his head to the side.
"Would you rather me tell him or him getting angry about secrets that are being kept from him?" Mikey asked. I nervously bit my lip ring.
"He should read my file." I answered.
"Gerard never bothers with that type of paperwork." Mikey replied as he got up.
"I'm telling him." Mikey said. I nodded. Mikey walked over to my bedroom door and opened it.
"By the way Iero is really fond of you." He blurted on the way out of the door. I got up and closed the door behind him with a smile on my face. Frank likes me?

About 15 minutes later a little knock came on the door. I turned down the tv a little before shouting come in. I grabbed my hoodie and pulled it on. Gerard and Frank came into my room and sat on my bed. Gerard had a plate with a some salad and one slice of pizza.
"You're going to eat this." Gerard said.
"I told Mikey I'm not hungry. I'm pretty sure he told you that." I said with a smile.
"He's also scared that you have an eating disorder." Frank said.
"Have you read my file yet?" I asked.
"No. I'm going to hear everything from you because I'm your dad." Gerard answered.
"What do you want to know?" I asked.
"Anything about you." Frank answered.
"I'd rather not." I said.
"Then at least eat something please." Frank begged. Gerard looked at me pleadingly. I shook my head.
"I can't eat it." I said as I looked at the plate in front of me. I bit my lip so hard a little bit of blood came out. I put my head in my hands.
"It will make me fat." I added. I pushed the plate away.
"It won't make you fat. This much won't make you gain weight. I promise." Gerard said. I looked at Frank for confirmation.
"He's telling the truth. It will be okay." Frank said. I hesitantly picked up the pizza slice and took a bite of it. I swallowed as I became guilty of eating. I slowly carried on taking bites until the whole slice had gone.
"I don't want the salad." I said.
"Please." Gerard begged. I picked at the salad until half of it was gone.
"I can't eat anymore and I'm tired." I said.
"That's okay. Baby steps. Come down and say goodnight to everyone then you're free." Frank said. Gerard took the plate as Frank took my hand. They took me downstairs where there was a sickly smell of greasy pizza. I tried not to make a face.
"Frank. I don't like the smell." I whispered.
"It's okay. All you need to do is tell everyone goodnight." Frank replied. He squeezed my hand before letting go.
"Everyone I'm going to bed as I'm like really tired so night." I announced. Ray, Mikey and Lyn-Z murmured a goodnight as Bandit hugged me and Gerard kissed my forehead.
"Frank I need something to sleep in." I said before heading up the stairs.
"Look in my closet in my room. You're welcome to sleep in there tonight." Frank said with a smile. I nodded before heading up the stairs one last time.
