I unlock the door and walk in seeing Max and Joji sitting one the couch talking. Joji looked at me. "Hey y/n!" He said getting up. Max just looked at us. "Y/n can I talk to you real quick?" He whispered. "Be right back." Joji told Max as we walked into my room. "Alright so today Max and I are gonna be hanging out all day... Obviously-"he whispered. "And?" I asked cutting him off. "Well umm... Can you like hang out somewhere while we are hanging out for the rest of the day?" He asks. "Yeah whatever." I muttered. As I was about to walk out he held me by my wrist which stopped me. "I'll make it up to you tomorrow." he said smiling. I fake smiled and nodded. He finally let me go and we both walked out. He went back talking to Max and I walked out of the apartment. I walked out and I sat down against the wall as a tear fell from my eye. Why am I crying? Am I really this desperate? I mean it's their guy time... He can't always hang out with a girl. I thought to myself. I kept pondering on what he was gonna do to make it up to me tomorrow. I decided to walk out the door and listen to Joji's music on soundcloud. I sat on a bench. The wind and snow was getting colder every hour. I knew I was gonna get sick but I didn't care. I closed my eyes and felt someone sit next to me. I opened one eye and saw it was just an old woman. I closed my eye. "Sad?" She asks. "Uh... Yeah." I said turning to her with a confused look. "Friend betrayed you?" She asked. "Well, I wouldn't say "betrayed" but-" I said as I got cut off. "But he is gonna make it up to you." she said finishing my sentence. "Uh... yeah." I said as I kind of smiled. "Wait how do you know my friend is a boy?" I asked with a confused and suspicious look. "Oh darling you'll never get that answer!" She said chuckling. I rolled my eyes and listened to his music again, closing my eyes. I felt her walk away. Probably my phone showed my playlist name which said: My Best Friends Music. I thought to myself. I checked the time and it was 6:34. I still sat on the bench realizing I was starving and it was dark, but I decided to skip dinner.
