Chapter 10|| i'm back and i'm better

An: The guy is her brother. Now isn't he cute ;)

"Hey jack" I said a small smile on my face as I watched him rest on the hospital bed.

I got out a couple of hours ago. Nordan didn't leave me side, but it was pretty late and I didn't need him to worry about me anymore.

"Hey, Nordan. You can leave now you're probably really tired. I'll stay with jack." I said my eyes meeting his gaze

"Are you sure Mila? I don't want anything to happen to you again." He said coming closer holding my hands.

"Yeah rain it's fine. I'll stay here." I said kissing his cheek. I pulled away to see a grin on his face. "You look tired go home." I smiled

"Okay, but I'll be with you tomorrow." He said, I nodded and he gave me a warm hug before walking off and out of the hospital.

I heard a small groan. I looked quickly to see jack waking up.

"Hey, hey, jack I'm here." I said making sure he was okay.
"Hey sis. Happy late birthday?" He said a smile tugging his lips.

"I am so sorry jack if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have- this wouldn't have happened to you." I said a small tear falling onto my cheek.

He gave me a smile and wiped the tear from my face with his thumb.

"Mila, it's not your fault. We all know that it was the stupid drivers fault that was driving the truck." He said a small laugh coming out of his mouth.

"I'm so glad you're okay jack." I said a smile coming onto my lips another tear falling from my eye.

"Don't worry sis. I love you and I wish you a Merry Christmas. Just kidding, really happy birthday. You're finally 21 which means you can drink alcohol now." He laughed pulling me in for a hug.

"Very funny jack. Thank you, uhm while this happened I kind of panicked and had a panic attack." I said playing with my hair not wanting to meet my eyes to his. Jack is going to freak out.

"What are you serious?!" He yelled
"Uh yeah it's fine. I'm fine, jack really. We should be worrying about you though." I said a weak smile on my face.

"I know, I'm glad you're okay. " he smiled
"Me too bro. Well you're getting out of here tomorrow." I said

"Ugh hospital food is disgusting." He said making a gagging noise. This made me laugh.

"Oh come on it's not that bad." I laughed

He mugged me.
"Well you should probably get some sleep sis." He said giving me a hug.

"Fine okay I'll see you tomorrow. Bye Jack I love you." Holding the hug for a little longer

"Love you too, now go leave." He joked giving a laugh and a kiss on the cheek.

I got home and fell asleep on my bed not even bothering changing into some formal sleep wear. Now that I think about it isn't it weird like you have specific clothing to wear when you sleep. I find that really weird, but we all have our opinions.

I woke up and groaned. I looked over my shoulder to see Blue on my bed watching me sleep.

"Ugh Blue stop being a creep." I said pushing him, but he only came closer. I ended up cuddling with the dog.

"Gosh you're cute." I said before getting up and changing into my outfit. I took a shower first. The first thing I was gonna do is go straight to the hospital.

Once changed I did my usual makeup and put my hair into a ponytail.

I walked downstairs and fed the dogs and took them for a small walk outside.

I then ran into my car driving off to the hospital again. I arrived and went into the building. I went into my brothers room to see him flipping through the channels.

"Hey Jack." I said walking into the room
"Oh hey Mila." He said a small smile on his face.

"Mom and dad came earlier so I guess I'm leaving at 4:00 in the afternoon. What time is it?" He asked

"It's 1:30. We have 3 hours and 20 minutes left." I said

"Ew gross." He said

He finally came out we just spent the time talking and playing games. I also ended falling asleep on his bed. Whoopsie daisy.

"Finally you're out." I smiled helping him in the passenger seat.

"Yeah thank god." He said putting on his seat belt. I drove off going to my house.

I opened the door to see Ally, Lucas, Alex, and Nordan sitting on the couch talking.

"Oh, hey guys. This is jack." I smiled
