Alexander McCall Book 2: The tale of The hybrid Alpha [#wattys2019]

Chapter 1: Hate and fear

It's been a month since the existence of supernatural creatures in beacon hills had been discovered and made public to everyone by the news and social media and also a month since Alexander McCall was informed that he would be a father soon, but the biggest surprise to Alex was the fact that he had a sister that he never knew about. Alex still hasn't told anyone in his pack, not even his best friend Eric, about his newfound sister, his unborn baby or that he and Rose had sex the same night Peter and Kate were killed. What Alex and his pack also didn't know was that a new threat was coming to beacon hills and would be causing more problems for the pack and everyone else in beacon, can they handle it or will they fall to this new threat? It was the middle of the night and Alexander McCall was running in the woods for what seemed like hours with his supernatural speed; he could hear the fast moving vehicle catching up to him, so he ran faster and faster until he reached a large gorge. Before he could leap over it a loud ringing sound was invading his eardrums, he yelled and covered his ears in pain as the sound grew closer. The vehicle stopped behind him and he heard the door open and shut, then the person in the vehicle walked up to him as he fell to his knees in pain.
     Alex looked up at the person who stood before him and saw that it was none other then his best friend Eric Stilinski, Eric looked down at Alex and held up the remote control to the sonic emitter he had on his jeep "You lose Alex, I caught you and now you're dead." He said smirking, Alex just growled and continued to cover his ears. Eric turned off the device and helped Alex to his feet "I think you're enjoying this too much." He says noticing the grin on Eric's face, he just shrugged in response "Maybe, but you have to admit that I got you." He said as they got into the jeep, Alex rolled his eyes "Alright you got me this time, but next time I will get over that gorge before you catch me." Eric just chuckled as he drove out of the forest and back onto the roads. Alex stares out of the window as Eric drove and he reflects on the past few weeks, how people started to hate and fear him for what he is; Alex looked into his reflection in the mirror and thought back on how things turned out.
       Flashback: Alex and Rose were in his car in the middle of a large field alone having a heated make out session in the drivers seat, but they were interrupted by the breaking sound of the drivers side window causing the two to stop. Before either of them could react Alex was pulled out of the by his shirt and was thrown to the ground hard and the one who pulled Alex from his car was Rose's very pissed off father, he grabbed Alex by his shirt and threw him onto the hood of his car and held him down with a gun aimed to his face. Rose sat in the car paralyzed in fear, she shook her head and got out of the car quickly "Dad what the hell are you doing!?" She asked worried and angry, her father didn't even look at her he only continued to glare at Alex with the gun to his head "I am going to kill this freak!" He spat at Alex as his eyes began to glow. Rose ran towards them and tried pulling her father off of Alex "Stop it please don't hurt him, I'll do anything I promise please just don't kill him!" She begged her enraged father with tears in her eyes "PLEASE!!" he looked to Alex and to his daughter; Rose's father reluctantly released Alex from his grasp and put the gun back in his pants, he stood over his daughter as tears flowed down her cheeks "You are to never have any contact with that monster ever again, do you understand me child." He said as she just sobbed and looked down "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!" He bellowed at Rose, she quickly nodded her head saying "Yes dad I understand." he grabbed her arm aggressively and pulled her towards his truck, Rose looked at Alex sadly as her father shoved her into the car and drove off after getting in himself, leaving Alex by his own car angry and saddened. When Alex went home home he was bombarded with kisses from Maya, she could smell the anger on him "What's wrong baby?" She asks concerned, he just sighed and went to his room and locked the door.
    Present: Eric and Alex arrived back at Alex's house "Alright Alex, you have been quite the entire ride, what is up with you and don't tell me nothing because I can detect the bullshit even if I'm not a werewolf." Eric said looking at Alex, he sighed and shook his head "Alright fine I'll tell you. Okay so after we beat Peter and Kate Maya and I were at home watching tv on the couch, she turned it off and looked at me with a look I couldn't read and she handed me a positive pregnancy test." Eric's eyes slowly widened as Alex continued talking "So basically I'm about to be a father and I'm not so sure I want to be." Alex finished with a sigh "Dude that is some heavy shit, So like are you gonna make her get an abortion or something?" Eric asked his friend, Alex signed "I don't know man I might, but that wasn't even the only shock that appeared into my life." He said rubbing the back of his head, Eric grabbed Alex's arm in surprise "Dude well don't keep me in suspense, tell me immediately." Alex sighed and looked at his friend "Apparently I have a sister that I didn't even know about and I don't know what to do about it, do you think your parents knew about her?" Eric let go of Alex and sighed "I'm not sure man. And if they did know why wouldn't they tell you?" Alex shrugged and looked at his house "We'll have to continue this tomorrow with the others." Eric sighed and nodded "Yeah alright man, see you at school." Alex and Eric fist bump and Alex gets out of the jeep and walked inside of his house, when he entered the house he saw Maya sitting on the couch with her arms crossed and anger radiating from her, he sighed and walked closer to her "What's wrong babe?" She stood and glared at him "You seriously think I should get an abortion?" She asked with venom in her words, Alex sighed knowing he got busted "Shit, you heard all of that." Maya nodded "Hell yes I heard all of that, Alex I can't believe that you would even think of having me do something that awful!" She yelled at him, he sighed and dropped his jacket on the couch "Listen Maya we're not ready for a baby yet and with what's going on this town now it would be unsafe for the child." She did a sarcastic laugh "Oh please, don't give me that fucking bullshit!" She yelled getting in his face "The only reason you don't want to have a baby with me is because of that bitch Rose, what the fuck does she have that I don't?" Alex sighed and shook his head "I can't deal with this shit right now, I'm going to bed." He said ignoring her comment and going to his room, she scoffed and went to sleep on the couch as she was not able to sleep in the same bed as Alex without starting a fight that night.
