Chapter 4: The parents

The next morning all of the McCall pack were in their first period class waiting for their teacher, Alex was sitting by himself looking out the window and Rose was doodling. Kyana was talking to Maya and Eric was having a make out session with Jane in the back of the classroom, everyone in the class started to quite down when Lydia walked into the class with the new teacher. Kyana's face fell when she saw that the teacher was her adoptive mother Betty. 

She gave Kyana a slick side smile when they locked eyes. Lydia cleared her throat before speaking "Okay class because of the unfortunate demise of your previous teacher you will have a substitute for the time being, be sure to treat her with the same respect you would if she were to be your permanent teacher." She looked at Betty with a smile "They're all yours now, I leave them in your hands." With a nod from Betty Lydia leaves the classroom, the students started to go back to their loud conversations until Betty dropped a textbook on the desk hard enough to silence them. "Now that I have your attention I have some rules of my own for the class. First, all assignments will be completed and turned in on my desk on the deadline and no later. Second, I am not your friend so don't think I'll tolerate any fucking foolishness from you little bastards. And third, you will respect me or you fail. Understand?" The entire class nodded and Betty smiled at them "Good, now my name is Mrs Carver and you will address me as such. Before we begin class what would you like to know about me?" One of the lacrosse players in the back raised his hand and Betty called on him "Yeah um I was just wondering just how tight is that pussy?" He asked with a smirk, she smirked back and walked towards him. She leaned forward on his desk and was on front of his face "It really doesn't matter to you since you'll never have the pleasure of touching, tasting or seeing this deliciousness, that is since you won't stop watching porn and masturbating every night like a pathetic virgin loser like a little dick bitch." The lacrosse players face fell as the class laughed at him, Betty kept her smirk and walked back to the front of the class. When Betty reached the front of the class she looked at Kyana with a smile "Do you have a question young lady, what's your name?" Kya gulped and stuttered "M-My name's Kya McCall. And I actually do have a question. Do you have any children and why are you here being our teacher?" Betty nodded knowing why Kya would ask that question "I do. I have a daughter, she's about your age I think and ran away from us, my husband and I. And I'm here being your teacher because I love educating young people." Alex raised his hand and Betty called on him "Why would your daughter run away from you, there must've been something you or your husband did to drive her away?" Alex asked, Betty smirked and shook her head "We gave that little girl everything she could've ever wanted, but she couldn't take the discipline we dished out every time she was a bad little brat. When I find her, I promise that she'll receive a worthy punishment." Under the table Alex's fist clenched hard, his claws digging into his palm, and Kyana's heart raced. Before anyone could ask another question the bell rung signaling class was over, Betty looked at the clock then the class and smiled "Well it looks like class is over, we'll have to pick this up another time. Tomorrow I expect you all to have an active learning mindset, you are all dismissed now." Everyone in the class left except for Alex and Kya, they stood at the front of the class in front of the teacher as she was leaning against the desk smirking. "Is there something I can help you with, you'll be late for your next class." Betty asked the two sarcastically, Alex's only response was a growl and Kyana's was a nervous whimper. "I'll just cut to the chase. My husband and I are going to take pretty little Kya back and there's nothing you can do about it, and if you or that little pack try to interfere with us. You're gonna regret it." Before Alex could lay a hand on her, Kya pulls him out of the class and walks with him to their next class. "I will fucking kill her." Alex gritted through his teeth as they were out of earshot from the class, Kya grabbed Alex's arm and rested herself against it "Promise me that you won't let her get me Alex, please promise me that." She said shivering in fear, Alex looked at his sister and nodded "I promise I'll keep you safe, I promise on my life." Kya smiled and hugged Alex's side, after entering the classroom almost late they took their seats. Alex was sitting next to Rose and Kya next to the Hale twins, Rose glanced at Alex and he looked back. "So what did you want to talk to me about in the message?" Rose whispers to Alex, he glances at her and whispers "I'll tell you later, but what I can tell you now is that that teacher isn't on our side. She's Kya's adoptive mother." Rose looked at Kya and she nodded in confirmation, Rose looked back to Alex "She's here to take Kya back isn't she?" Alex nods "And she knows who we all are. She also warned us to stay out of the way or we'll regret it." Rose looked at the others knowing that they could hear the conversation she and Alex were having, except Eric since he was human. Rose looked back at Alex "We're not really gonna listen to her right? I mean she's gotta know that you are stubborn as hell." Alex shrugs his shoulders "I know that we'll protect Kya with everything we got, but I also know that her so called mother will do anything she can to try and take her. We can't let that happen." Rose nods in agreement and Alex continues "We need to tell Lydia and Stiles and come up with a plan to keep Kya safe, and we need to figure out how to do it discreetly without alerting the enemies." Alex heard an assortment of whispered yeahs from the pack, and looked at Kya with determination in his eyes. She smiled and nodded at him, she knew that she could depend on her brother.
